Hi. I had a mild heart attack in October 2021, one stent fitted. Follow up echocardiogram ecg in April 2022, all good, told no further appointments unless there's any problems. I am currently on Candesartan, Bisoprolol, Omeprazole, Aspirin and Rosuvastatin. No one has reviewed this since October 2022

Is Aspirin needed for Et
I’ve just listened to the vlogcast with Alicia O’Sullivan and heard her say that aspirin is not required for ET just for PV. I was told that it was needed for ET to stop the platelets sticking together. Any thoughts please. Thanks Irene

After a small HA six years or so ago, I take aspirin, amplodipine, ramipril and atorvastatin. I've strained a tendon in my upper arm which has seriously impacted the mobility of my dominant arm. To cut a long story short, my GP has diagnosed tendonopathy and while I wait to see a physiotherapist for

coronary artery spasm
Hi. I have been told that I most probably have coronary artery spasm as get chest pain if I rush especially if it’s cold and I’ve just eaten or had a drink of something. It started in 2021 and I had loads of tests and they said my arteries were clear. They put me on Atorvastatin and low dose aspirin.

Eye haemorrage
I am on hydroxy 500mg daily and 75mg asprin. My left eye has become bloodshot again. On the previous occasion, some 5 weeks ago, my left eye had a serious bleed, which took weeks to clear. I think I will stop asprin forwith. I attempted to contact my haematology nurse, left a message and no call back

ET and treatment choices
I was diagnosed with ET in 2004. I am on Aspirin. I recently turned 60. My platelets are 530. My consultant has recommended that I start low dose Hydroxycarbamide 3 days per week. I am so confused and don’t know what to do.

Aspirin. Two questions....
Hi all, l hope everyone is well. OK first can anyone confirm that it is right to give an aspirin of 300 to 320mg to a person who is, or possibly is, having a heart attack if that person is already taking100mg daily aspirin. I can only find one article that says yes to this. Also, how long after starting

Private blood tests - med review
Hi You guys have always been so ace so I come to you again! My husband had a HA in 2018, 3 stents, age 42. At the time fit cyclist. Blood pressure was the cause likely stress related. Cholesterol was fine. Roll forward and his meds haven’t been reviewed or changed since we agreed with GP he

Blood "thinness" test
Are there any members whose Dr checks for blood thick/thin-ness? Many supplements can thin blood, so for those on aspirin it could be additive. My Dr is ok with my taking curcumin, but I have noticed a minor change in bleeding. I'm curious if there is an actual test for this?

Hello everyone, I am about to have my second FET in about a weeks time. My first fresh embryo transfer and my first FET didn’t work so I was wondering what I can do to prepare my uterus for the transfer for a good chance of success? bad itch and body rash
I am a 79 year old female UK. I’ve posted first of all when I was diagnosed about 1 year ago. I have ET and BmB confirmed this. I live in Paisley, Scotland and there is only one MPN Specialist in this area and he is based in Edinburgh. I did consult with him privately and he agreed with hospital
