Hi I’m a 73 yr old female. Diagnosed

With A flutter 13 years ago put on low dose bisoprolol simvastatin and aspirin. Over the years bisoprolol has increased now take 7.5 mg and extra 2.5 if needed also simvastatin and rivaroxiban and lansoprosol cardiologist yesterday added amiodarone to the list awaiting second ablation can anyone advise if they take the same cocktail.

On simvastatin for years, this increased my blood sugar levels, when dose was doubled i became prediabetic, saw consultant cardiologist, who changed statin to pravastatin, does not raise blood sugar levels as much as simvastatin , and is less toxic ,she wouldn't give me a non statin medication, , so if i live long enough i will probably end up being diabetic because of statins
