Thyroid symptoms and iodine
I have all the symptoms of an underactive thyroid except I am sensitive to hot and cold. My tsh and t4 are normal, but t3 4.0. (Lab scale started at 3.9 ). In June I was much better and had had 2 iodine injections for scans. Does an iodine deficiency cause the same symptoms thanks

PMR question
I find this so weird. Today For the first time I took a Tylenol for Arthritis and no prednisone and the pain that was from sternocleidomastoid was gone as was any other pains and aches frm my body, now I am only at .25 mg of prednisone so it’s not a lot....but has anyone experienced anything like this

IVIG treatment
I just had my first of 6 IVIG treatments due to low immunity. The treatment went well but about 24 hours later I got a raging headache, leg cramps and aching in shoulders and neck area. This has continued. Anyone else go through this? I have taken Tylenol for the intense headache but it isn’t working

Pain
Hi I’m under investigation for PCOS. I’ve been put on the progesterone only pill so I’ve stopped bleeding, however I’m still getting agonising pain in my groin and the worst cramping. Has anyone else had this? Is there anything other than paracetamol and codeine that I can take? (Can’t take anti inflammatory

Completely lost
Guys. I have hypothyroidism on a cellular level - meaning it is not primary, not secondary, but underactive/unresponsive within the cells. TSH normal, low- end of range t4 and t3. Both levothyroxine and Armour have increased my symptoms and made me very ill as they are not making it into the cells. Endocrinologists

So many capsules, tablets, powders to swallow....
Hello everyone, I trust this post of mine finds you well. I wanted to ask you, how do you deal with all these things we have to swallow? More than once I found myself choking on a huge omega 3 capsule or a polyvitamin one. Maybe even a Mg capsule. And what about the constant need to drink, I don't even

Testing Pituitary Function - Any Advice Please?
I had an overactive thyroid gland treated with Radioactive Iodine in February 1990. I gained two and half stone during the three years which followed. My doctor flatly refused the idea that my thyroid had become underactive, while my T4 slowly plummeted to the bottom of the range, because my TSH did

Getting stronger
Tomorrow it will be 2 weeks I have been home. I have had a fantastic follow up by a cardiac nurse, who gave me a right bollocking. Firstly for doing too much walking and for not taking the right amount of pain killers. I am now doing 2x15 min walks and started the full paracetamol and codeine dosage.

Do any supplements work?
Do any supplements work? I've read through many, many posts on this site claiming that particular supplements, or combinations of supplements, slow or stop or reverse the progression of Parkinson's Disease. Off the top of my head, I've seen posts on the following: - Vitamin B1 - CoQ 10 - Ceylon

Who else was shocked!!
I'm new here but thought I would add me current experience with MBC. I was diagnosed with BC back in 2014, had a mastectomy and only had to take Letrozole for 5 years. I thought it was a fluke and thought nothing more about it. Well, low and behold it is back!! I thought I had pulled a muscle from

FET supliments??
So after a hellish week of waiting for a phone call, I was advised today that I have 2 frozen embryos! Feel like I can relax and breath again! Not having my FET for a few months. I was looking for some pre- FET supliment advice? Pre egg-collection I have been taking high dose Folic Acid, Vitamin D, CoQ10

Headache, some jaw pain.... Phooey!! # &#@%^
I had written I'd been in the hospital with a bad infection and it seems to be taking me a long time to bounce back. PLUS, for the last 4-5 days I've been experiencing some jaw pain and jaw sensitivity. I've had a headache 'forever ...I know I had it June 3 and I've been taking Tylenol every day. Wondering
