Graves with relapse of hyperthyroidism
Looking for some advice from anyone with has happened yo and if anyone has tried RAI and what the success rate is. I have restarted Carbimazole 10mgs daily with TSH 0.02 I don’t know other levels. I just want to be better as I am now 70 and want to enjoy the time I have left! Thanks all

Hip Replacement
Hi.... I’m new to this forum, but familiar with HU for a condition my husband has. I’ve found it a great resource. I have OA in my right hip and was to have a hip replacement in approx 4-6 months (in Ontario), but due to COVID, all surgeries are now delayed. Some days are ok, but most are quite uncomfortable

PMR question
Okay, looking for your best suggestions or guess as to what is going on. I have managed to taper to 1/2 mg prednisone, when I get up I am achy all over, but bearable, then I take an extra strength Tylenol around noon and have a nap and I’m good, I feel like I did before I was diagnosed with PMR... does

Broken and Lost - awaiting urgent hysterectomy at 34
Today broke me!! My surgeon phoned for an over the phone consult (thanks covid) if you know my story I’ve been waiting since 2017 for a hysterectomy due to stage 4 or as I call it decimated stage Endo. I haven’t even met him in person since I was ‘urgently’ referred Nov 19! And he’s called twice both

Ashermans, thin lining, low ovarian reserve, poor responder.. trying ivf one last time with donor sperm for possible surrogacy if lucky
After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange that when I had the coil out my periods remained just as light as when I had it in. I decided to do some hormone tests, and discovered I had a high prolactin

Symptoms but no diagnosis. Frustrating. I've tried everything and would appreciate any kind of advice. Please note this is a very long post.
I started to feel discomfort on the right side below my ribs about a year and a half ago. It wasn't pain as such but more of a discomfort that one should not feel daily. I was drinking heavily at the time; beer, whiskey, tequila. This discomfort has now become chronic that would last for a few hours

Is This Normal for PC?
Every Cancer is different is what they all say. I seem to have inherited a very different one. Urination issues: Had urination issues as symptoms beginning last Summer, and diagnosed in November with Ductal PCA. The medical solution to my pissing problem was a TURP. Lasted a bit over two months

Insomnia
Hi my neurologist wrote to me a few days ago regarding the use is melatonin for insomnia she said it was licensed for short term use in adults over 55 years but in her experience it’s not a very effective treatment for insomnia. She added that a course of CBT was more effective. She added that she will

Anyone else feeling sick on multi vitamins???? 🥺🤢
I’m convinced my multi vitamin is making me have all day sickness 🙄 anyone else the same? I’m currently on Pregnacare but think the iodine is not agreeing with me . I’ve changed when I take it and always with food but the all day sick is just not going. I’m sick sometimes shortly after I’ve swallowed

Can't seem to get anywhere
I may or may not be able to get any answers here. I might not even be in the right place. I'm a 53 year old male and back in 2015 my thyroid swelled up quite a bit. I was referred to my local hospital endocrinology. Where a large amount off brown liquid was drained. At the same time I developed alopecia

7 weeks post op - still in pain?
7 weeks post diagnostic laparoscopy with excision of Endometriosis. I haven't really taken note of if the pain has gotten better or worse as it's still early days. Today I am in so much pain in my lower belly, almost as if I'm about to start bleeding but I'm not due for another week. I don't take any

Painful toes due to Parkinson’s
On the side that is affected by Parkinson’s, I am having serious issues with my toes. They are painful, appear swollen and I don’t know what to do. I went to my GP first and had blood work done….not Gout. So I went to a foot doctor. He took X-rays and said the space between the joint had bone on

LOW ENDORPHRIN LEVELS
HI all can anyone tell me where I can purchase codeine phosphate without a prescription or any other med that will boost endorphrin levels as my gp informs me that my levels are low at times but refuses to prescribe anything.
