Great News! Any Tips?
I'm so excited and happy to say, I got into the Bridge Program, so I can start on Kesimpta while my neurologist battles it out with my insurance 😂😜I was really surprised that I got on it so quickly! I talked to the pharmacy yesterday and my first injections get here today! I'm rather nervous now

Rheumatologist response
Thank you to all who are responding and helping me make decisions. Some day it will be me helping others, I promise. Recap: I have been dealing with pmr for 4 years. For the last year I have been on 4.5 mg and I have felt only moderate pain, some days none. 6 weeks or so ago, however, the pain increased

Giving In
Tonight I just had to give in to whatever could stop the pain. I try very hard not to take too much of anything, knowing my body will just want the same, if not more. I am even careful with Tylenol Arthritis, taking it only every 3rd day or so as a treat. Meanwhile, I just push through the pain. I have

6 MONTH PMR UPDATE
My last update was 6 months ago. Since then, I have tapered 100% off of prednisone. My inflammation markers have normalized. I have been turned over to my primary care provider from Rheumatology. I have went back to work part-time without issue. Despite my theory it was my infected tooth that caused

Tylenol pm dangerous ??
I know that Tylenol is often recommended for pain with CKD stage 3. But I am wondering if Tylenol PM is safe. I know that Tylenol PM includes an antihistamine to help with sleep. Does anyone have any experience with this OTC medication?

Newly diagnosed stage 4 prostate cancer, age 77, PSA in low 20 range. PSMA (type of PET scan) revealed metastasis to 7 bone sites, with intermittent hip pain alleviated with Tylenol. Occasionally short of breath because, I think, below normal hemoglobin, platelet and iron levels consistent with bone

Joint/Muscle Pain
i have been experiencing this ever since I began my Urso journey three months ago. I am wondering if it takes longer than this to adjust? I have no other real issues with it. I have taken moderate amounts of Tylenol, but it really is not doing much, if anything. I am contemplating CBD…sublingual…

My journey to date
I want to thank everyone who has taken the time and interest to advise me on dealing with my RLS. To update, I am fortunate to live near a clinic that deals with movement disorders and have begun seeing a specialist who treats RLS. She has prescribed gabapentin- didn’t work- and now has me on pregabalin

Inflammation — this stuff works?
Added 1/26/24: I had sleep issues and had to quit 299v. I can’t rule out placebo, but sleep could also be B1 break (I was on day 4 of the break. I quit 299v on day 22 of the B1.) Could the effects of B1 being cleared from my body be responsible for any improvements and/or any problems? I believe 299v

COVIDShot
I got a COVID shot yesterday afternoon and woke with chills at 4a.m. Eight hours later and I still feel terrible, chills, back ache, shoulder pain, overall lethargy. Immediately after the shot I took 2 Tylenol but that did not seem to have any effect. In order to warm up I had to turn my electric blanket

First Biopsy Experience
I'd like to share my first biopsy experience. This was a transrectal approach and he took 14 cores: 4 cores from a known 1.3 cm long tumor in the peripherial zone that he could clearly see on ultrasound (which matched the location on MRI). He did it "cognitively" because he could easily see the tumor

Anyone here with cervical arthritis?
I recently found out that the pains I've been having in my neck, shoulders and arms is arthritis. Specifically c4-c5, c6-c7. I don't want ibuprofen, Tylenol isn't working and I'm allergic to sulfa drugs; I'm kinda concerned about all the drugs, but need something to help so I can continue to work. I
