4 year old starting school and still will only poo in a pull up
My 4 year old starts reception in 2 weeks and still cannot poo in the toilet, only in a pull up, despite 2 years of me trying and failing to achieve this. He also soils and is on Movicol and Senna. If I am slow to give him a pull up (in the hope that as he’s so desperate to go it might just slip out

Acterma - Side Effects
I am taking Actemra after having been diagnosed with GCA several months ago. A week ago, I developed bags under my eyes and swelling on both my feet. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a common side effect of the medication?

Learning to live with ET and PV in California
Diagnosed with ET in 2016 and PV a few years later. Recently started on Hydrea after platelet counts reached 1,000,000. Have been having phelbotomies for several years for the PV. I'm a recent transplant from the Midwest to the Central Coast of California...arrived just before the pandemic.

Sticky Blood
I had the same a few years ago femoral vein DVT and multiple PE's. I was on heperin and then rivaroxaban for 6 months. Came off and then 6 months later, had multiple tiny blood clots that stuck together in my heart, causing a blockage. I would agree, you need to find the reason for it. I have always

Black spots upon waking
Hi.. I have this problem also. It started around 6 months ago. Woke up one morning to see 2 black dots upon the white wall which disappeared when blinking. I contacted my gp and have had 2 eye tests including dilated pupil and both say eye health is good. I am now suffering with sleep and hallucinations

I’m in the exact situation as you are. You say all the things I have going through my head .
I had a lupus anticoagulant test same as you and they space it out as You said every 3 months . I have had a huge clot in my subclavian which was so big it had spread from subclavian to side of my breast and under my arm pit . I was in hospital for a week . They put me on heparin IV drip and Coumadin

Hi Folks, hope everyone is enjoying the Bank Holiday. This pic of Mira shows just how much she likes a cuddle and has so aided my recovery along with her mum Bea. I’m doing really well, getting stronger everyday - I had some good news in I don’t need the bowel aneurysm operated on yet - I was told it

New Job Worries
I'm about to start a new job. They use a contractor to do a health assessment before we start. It's a phone interview the day before I start. My injury happened 8 months ago. What’s going on with my belly
Hi all, well I’m in the middle of a flare up and I don’t know how to cope with it anymore. I’m in so much pain and my reflux is in overdrive, I’m currently in medication but was wondering whether to add mebeverine to the mix, haven’t taken it for years but was wondering what you all thought of this particular

Lupron vs Trelstar
My first injection 3+ months ago was with Lupron. When I got my second injection last week I was given Trestar. The PA said it was a common thing to interchange the two due to costs of the drug or availability at the time. Is it indeed a common practice and are there any cons with this practice?

Parkinson’s disease patients’ short chain fatty acids production capacity after in vitro fecal fiber fermentation 2021
Inulin beat out resistant starches for butyrate production but both helped. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41531-021-00215-5 To conclude, this study demonstrates that dietary fiber stimulates butyrate production in PD patients despite decreased butyrate-producing bacteria. Proteolytic Enzymes... Has anyone had any success with them?
I already take Curcumin and Vit K2 on top of ADCAL supplements and wondered if anyone has used Proteolytic Enzymes. Are they worth the money? I am currently on 7.5mg Steriods and taking Alendronic acid too.
