Hi Folks, hope everyone is enjoying the Bank Holiday. This pic of Mira shows just how much she likes a cuddle and has so aided my recovery along with her mum Bea.
Iโm doing really well, getting stronger everyday - I had some good news in I donโt need the bowel aneurysm operated on yet - I was told it was 15cm long when in fact itโs 15mm Long and that they picked it up 7 years ago when I had a CT scan when I had Conns syndrome - ( I had benign tumour on my adrenal gland) so gland was removed , at that stage it was 10mm, they said they want to see me in 2 years time for another CT scan - so my self and family were worried needlessly when I was told it was life threatening , you think how could they get this is wrong ๐ซ
Thankyou everyone for all your wonderful support - it means a lot x

Such a beautiful image. Mira is a real cuddle monster isnโt she? They bring us so much comfort and joy and ask for only cuddles and food. I was delighted to hear your news about the bowel aneurism. Now you can concentrate on getting well and building your strength. Big Cwtches to you and your gorgeous girls xxx
Found it, beautiful pictures! Read your good news too, very pleased for you. Rest up and cuddle up today ๐
They really have been putting you through totally unnecessary worry, as if you didn't have enough of the real stuff. Completely out of order, grrrrr ๐ก๐ก๐ก
But you are recovering slowly and surely with a bit of help from your friends,
So very happy to hear that you are getting better and stronger everyday! Also glad that they will watch the aneurism and it is not an immediate concern although sorry they put you through so much worry. Of course, love the picture of Mira and admire your very pretty bracelet. your whole post brightened my day.
Gorgeous pic SV and really pleased to read your positive news. Mira looks like sheโs taking good care of her mummy by keeping you in the cuddle position!! Best medicine ever! Take care, lots of healing vibes and best wishes - keep us posted! ๐๐ค๐๐ค๐๐ค
Thank you sweetie. My brother and father are getting worse but still doing the best they can given their multi organ failure. Thank you for remembering them.
Hi SV, glad to hear you are making a good recovery and sorry you had to go through the unnecessary stress of the aneurysm . Lovely photo of you and nurse Mira, she sure loves posing for photos and always makes me smile xx.
What a relief SV to hear you donโt need the aneurysm op after all, well at least not at present. ๐๐ป๐๐ป But how awful you and your family have been put through the mill with anxiety which was totally needless. Thereโs a huge difference between 15cm and 15mm! ๐คฆโโ๏ธ Hubby has been losing weight for a while and they said after blood tests that it was an over-active thyroid and he was waiting to hear from the endocrinologist. However a few weeks later his GP phoned to say theyโd made a mistake and he didnโt have an over-active thyroid after all. They took more blood tests and have at least ruled out cancer. They now think his rapid heart rate which is the result of a heart ablation he had last October is to blame for the weight loss because it has raised his metabolism, so heโs to have another ablation in the hope his heart rate will return to normal. ๐คท๐ผโโ๏ธ All very stressful so I can only imagine how sick with worry you and your family were over the mistake.๐ฅดWhat an excellent wee nurse Mira is. ๐ So pleased to hear you are feeling better every day. ๐๐ป๐๐ป You maybe wonโt need to wait so long for the Center Parcs trip after all.๐๐ป
Hi Spotty thatโs terrible about the mix up with your hubby and what the GP said - hope they get to the bottom of it very soon. Thankyou for your kind wishes xxx
Great photo Sv if i had one with marley sat on me for a cuddle it would look.more like a comedy sketch lol. Really pleased to hear you are doing well and no more surgery is needed just yet.keep being kind to yourself and thanks for the updates...I'm not the only one who thinks about you xxx๐คxxx
Wonderful news and pic of you and Mira. She's just so gorgeous and its wonderful shes been working her magic again for you. What a relief about your bowel aneurysm not being needed to be operated on!. As you rightly say though how could they have got it so wrong and given you such needless worry!.?. You've been put thru the mill svfarmer so its lovely how well your recovering!.
Keep safe and a big pat to your furry nurses for doing such a great job. Xx
So pleased itโs good news. Needless worry though and I bet โsorryโ was nowhere to be heard. We have had little Olga staying with us for 6 weeks as her dad was ill. Heโs now asked us to have two weeks on and two weeks off until he can no longer cope. Broke my heart taking her home on Sunday as we are away on hols for a week. Even worse when I was told she was sitting by the closed front door when I left waiting for me!
Beautiful head shot of black and white fluffy dog.
Olga is so sweet , what breed is she? So lovely that you get to share her but hard when you havenโt got her, they are such lovely little companions arenโt they. ๐ถ๐ฅฐ
Sheโs one of these mixed breed designer dogs apparently. Maltese/poodle mix or something. She has the most adorable personality. Playful and not a nasty bone in her body. You leave the room for 10 minutes and she is as excited as if youโve been gone hours. Even when sheโs been out for her walks with my husband she comes in excited as if she hasnโt seen me in ages. I love her to bits. The kids dress her up and she sits there with her tail wagging licking them. They adore her.
My maths is pretty rubbish but even I know the difference between cms n mms!! That's a BIG difference!! ๐นYou've done so well sv to cope with all this turmoil!!
Am so very happy to see that the lovely Mira is helping you to heal..she looks so snuggled in your lap n I'm glad that you can bear her weight too.
You're doing grand..keep going warrior n don't take any risks now..slowly slowly!! I hope the pneumonia's cleared now too ๐ค
Thanks for posting n keeping us updated on your progress..you're in my thoughts ๐๐ฝ๐ฝxx
Thanks so much Krazykat - I have a cushion on my lap at all times, and Mira is always on it - she looks a lot bigger in the photo than is actually is- sheโs a tiny little thing 7kg when her mum is 9kg - hope you are doing well , when do you get your new car? I seem to remember you had a wait for it? Xx
I'm still waiting on the car ๐นOur little Lily is 7kgs too!! That's a great idea putting the cushion on your lap..I find Lily quite heavy n her little claws dig in my legs.
Am thinking when we do eventually get the car we can go for little dog walks so she'd probably be on my lap more as hubby's pushing me in the wheelchair..thanks for the tip ๐๐๐ฝ๐ฝxx
Your wish is my command Megs ๐ค๐She's nine years old n we've had her since she was nine months!! My best friend n very caring furry nurse ๐ถ๐๐ฝ๐ฝxx
Kat, Lily is just beautiful โค so much expression in her little face 'a wise little old lady' there is something extra special about an older dog that melts my heart & I bet she gives amazing snugglesโค Xx
Hey svfarmer, that is a lovely comforting picture. Mira is oozing lots of healing vibes.Great to hear that you are getting stronger, long May that continue.
Such wonderful news SV! Fancy telling you something was life threatening when they clearly werenโt sure? Donโt they know anxiety and stress set off โflaresโ in many โloopiesโ, it certainly sets me off.
Thank you for sharing Mira with us. She looks so loving and comforting. Stay strong my friend, lots of hugs from across the equator.๐ฆ
