Sativex in the UK?
I’ve been looking in to cannabis for help with spasticity and neuropathy pain. I came across Sativex and saw that it was approved in the UK for MS and was wondering if any of my fellow AMNers in the UK have tried it before?

Epsom salt bath
I have AF and mostly controlled raised blood pressure, so my question is can I use Epsom salts to soak in a a bath? I have heard it can really help with muscular aches and pains, plus is it a way to get magnesium into the body? My lad tells me it’s also really relaxing ☺️ Thank you .

Hi,
Looking for some sage advice, I've been on this forum before but not for a while. Many moons ago I was diagnosed with PAF which weirdly, only ever happens during the night so I'm sure there is a digestive association with it. Anyway, long story short, I was put onto Warfarin for a few years but as a

EMDR Therapy
Has anyone tried EMDR to help trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD? If so, how was your experience? I'm meeting with an EMDR therapist next week.

Why Take Hydroxycarbamide
Hi, I have recently been told that I have ET as I have the Jak2 variation and a high platelet count of 512, so have just received Hydroxycarbamide 500mg to take daily. I am fortunate, that apart from itching after hot showers, I haven't had any symptoms. I am 67 so am told I am "high risk", but in trying

Desperate need for advice, I am having to pull out of university because of persistent GI problems!
Hi there, I would be very grateful for any advice, For around 6 months I have been having ongoing GI problems. In this time I have had three quite severe flare-ups, two of which involved A&E visits however nothing was found (I am too used to this). My main symptoms are severe abdominal pain and nausea

Fed up with episodes
Post ablation, nearly week 12, episodes are weekly, latest one started Thursday, it’s now Saturday and it’s been a mixed of HHR 130, 137 for hours then it goes to AF, this is on Apple Watch, it’s still coming up AF although HR is 98 now , just so confused why it won’t just settle down. I’m talking

GCA, PMR, now vasculitis
Hi folks! Diagnosed with GCA in 2015, with PMR in 2021, and now they tell me I have Vasculitis. I am to have a kidney biopsy soon and this is all too confusing. Has anyone had this problem and perhaps have some good advice for me?

AV Node Ablation Update
Hello and Happy and Healthy New Year to everyone Thought I’d update you on my current situation. I had a Pacemaker fitted on June 30th as the first stage of Pace and Ablate after my third ablation failed in Sept 2020 and drugs didn’t help. The AV node ablation was meant to be 4-6 weeks after the PaceMaker

Are we going to hear back from the Georgetown University researchers?. Will there be a PHASE 3 TRIAL?
From what I'm hearing GU will not be going forward. They did find evidence of a vascular disorder that may be the root cause. Would hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) with Tasigna be worth a look?

Depression, anxiety, PTSD, and me
I am new here so hi everyone! I have been suffering with anxiety for almost a year now and depression for almost 3 years. I am trying my best not to isolate and stay in bed like my mind tells me to but, it feels like I am just permanently... off? I don't know how else to put it. I get anxious when it's

Update on Brother
I wrote a week or so ago about my older brother. He has since been released from the Hospital they are recommending Skilled Nursing or Home Care but he is refusing. At a minimum we have tried to push for Palliative Care and again he refuses. I worry about him as he live alone in a tiny camper and
