Hi everyone .Happy New Year.
Posted a number of times and thank you for your supportive posts.
Like most of you I have struggled with IBS-C for a number of years. Towards the end of last year i was so fedup decided to 'take the bull by the horns' and to have my piles (prolapsed and bleeding) removed privately. Also to see a different Gasto consultant so I could have my CT scan and symptoms explained in depth. Thankfully all is good , nothing nasty however still have many of the symptoms that go 'hand in hand ' with IBS-C and dyspepsia. Everyone I have consulted say there is no easy solution and to manage the condition with the support of my GP and Gastro Consultant.I should say it has been worth every penny .
This leads me onto an article I read recently which I found very interesting and I guess very much applicable also to th IBS community. Here is the link : rcpjournals.org/content/cli...
Stay safe and healthy
