GCA, PMR, now vasculitis

Hi folks! Diagnosed with GCA in 2015, with PMR in 2021, and now they tell me I have Vasculitis. I am to have a kidney biopsy soon and this is all too confusing. Has anyone had this problem and perhaps have some good advice for me?

That's a bit rough - one is enough!

GCA/PMR are also forms of vasculitis so it is possible that you have been misdiagnosed as it being GCA/PMR originally - did you get a positive biopsy for the GCA? But onc eyou have one autoimmune disorder - they like company.

Yes to a temporal artery biopsy in 2015. My doc said the same thing about “liking company”. Now I am concerned about my kidneys…🤔

I have the trifecta as well. What's the kidney biopsy for? Do you have ANCA? Definitely check the Vasculitis group for that.
