Deciding on my next IVF protocol - advice
Hi All! My first IVF ICSI cycle recently failed because my two only embryos didnt make it to the blastocyst stage. They were fine until about day 4 and then they arrested. I will be 42 in about 3 months and have AMH levels about 7. Four egg were retrieved during the egg collection from about 8 size folicules

FET thin lining on natural cycle
Evening all Just after some reassurance really.. I’ve tried a long protocol, but my lining only got the 5.6mm. Tried the short protocol and I ovulated and lining didn’t make it past 5.5mm. So am on a natural cycle. Had a scan yesterday and it was 6mm but todays scan it was 5.8mm.. they’ve decided to

Hi everyone... here to say hi and so glad to finally be part of a support group.
Hi everyone. I'm currently 29 and have been through severe period pain since I started my periods at 12 and ended up going on the pill and having severe pain, heavy bleeding and becoming anaemic. I still had pill breaks but the bleeding did get a bit lighter but the pain was still bad and progressively

herbal remedies and IVF
Hello, hope you are doing ok, i just wondered if anyone has any experiences with taking herbal medicine for fertility (Eg PCOS and helping ovulation) and any advice you have been given on how soon to stop this before starting any IVF meds. I know it’s bad to take at the same time because of possible

So, after 4 failed IVF rounds behind us, I wanted to find out if our 5th round embryos have stared to implant at all. All I ever had previously were stark white BFNs. I have never ever had a positive pregnancy test in my hand and we have been trying for the last 8 years. I tested negative on 6dp5dt (

anxious, miserable, scared of menopause, sick of waiting, dieting and thinking about it
Hi everyone hope you’re ok. I am 40 in 6 months time. I have one failed round of ivf behind me ( three eggs didn’t make it to blastocyst due to egg quality) that was in august. I had a horrible experience with the nhs after that after being told I wasn’t eligible for another cycle. I fought this

Any success stories after poor follicle response?
Hi everyone, I’ve never posted on here before but hoping someone can offer some positive stories or experience. I’m doing my first round of IVF as a single woman, 40 and low AMH of 3.8. Just had my day 8 scan and only have four follicles size 16, 14, 9 and 7. The doctors have said I’ll get 2-3 eggs max

4w3d loss of symptoms
I am very early following IVF, never been pregnant before and my anxiety is through the roof. My tests are super strong with ‘dye stealers’ on pink dyes but I’m petrified of having a chemical and this has been made worse by loss of symptoms. I didn’t have many anyway but my boobs and nipples were very

laparoscopy
Hi All, So after 5 rounds of IVF, yesterday I managed to get a cancellation for a laparoscopy and dye procedure. Findings - I have adhesions on my uterus, ovaries and liver?! This could limit the blood supply to my follicles, eggs and hinder egg quality etc… I do not have the atypical symptoms for

Hi, one query that if male’s sperm has no problem/perfect, and I naturally fall pregnant before(but ectopic unfortunately), so choose IVF or ICSI? The price of the 2 are the same in my clinic, so it’s my decision to choose, which is better? and also wondering why my clinic charge same price? Anyone has

Desperately need advice on fresh transfer happening Monday!
Good morning all, Yesterday I had my egg collection and I was told if more than 20 eggs were collected or if my bloods (done 2 days prior to my collection) showed high progesterone (4.5 or more), then all my embryos would be frozen (no option of a fresh transfer). This was explained to me as high levels

Any teachers going through IVF?
Hi everyone, I've just started on the first day of my stimulation injections; taking gonal-F (which hurt a lot more than my buserelin!). Are there any fellow teachers who did a cycle whilst at work? I've had a few appointments already that I've had to take time out for but feeling a bit worried about

Is anyone else really bad at making treatment decisions? 😫
To give a bit of background, the reason we had to start ivf was because I have PCOS and just didn’t ovulate. After a long journey with numerous cancelled cycles due to thin lining, I had a hysteroscopy which found severe scar tissue which had to be removed and then shortly after we were lucky enough

I don't know whether to try again quickly (42 and running out of time) or if I should get myself in a better headspace first?
I am very confused, and my clinic just said it is up to me to decide. I turned 42 in July when I started my first IVF cycle as a single woman. Since then I have had 3 failed cycles as well as a hysteroscopy. I have just about enough money for one more try, but I am worried if I try again straight away
