Just after some reassurance really.. I’ve tried a long protocol, but my lining only got the 5.6mm. Tried the short protocol and I ovulated and lining didn’t make it past 5.5mm. So am on a natural cycle. Had a scan yesterday and it was 6mm but todays scan it was 5.8mm.. they’ve decided to go ahead with an implant a week today so I’ve just taken my trigger shot and I start the joyful pessaries tomorrow. Am just nervous that my lining is too thin? My dominant follicle was 21mm which is obviously good.. We are very lucky and I had a baby 18 months ago via IVF and my lining did get to 8mm so we know it can get thick enough. Has anyone else had an implant/similar experience? Thanks!xx

Hi there. I've just done a natural cycle and my lining was a bit on the thin side at 6mm, after ovulation I started on estrogen 3x a day. My clinic always say that they're not overly concerned about linings as an embryo can implant in a fallopian tube where there Is no lining so a slightly thinner lining still has a good chance. This transfer was a success and I'm nearly 6 weeks pregnant even with that slightly thinner lining.
Studies show pregnancy with linings as thin as 4mm. That said, I'm 7dp6dt on a natural modified FET cycle and it took 21 days for a 15 mm dominant follicle to appear and lining to get to 8mm, when I was finally instructed to take my trigger shot. On day 16 it was 5mm. In between I ate beetroot every day and drank beetroot drinks. I also went and had acupuncture to increase blood flow into my reproductive organs when my lining was 5.8mm, two days before it got to 8mm.
