Hello, hope you are doing ok, i just wondered if anyone has any experiences with taking herbal medicine for fertility (Eg PCOS and helping ovulation) and any advice you have been given on how soon to stop this before starting any IVF meds. I know it’s bad to take at the same time because of possible interactions so I’m not planning on that. But the only way I can give myself a decent chance at natural conception in between failed FETs is to take herbs to bring on ovulation. So just wondered if anyone has been in a similar situation. Thank you xx

hi Ytrwq123, I was told to stop all supplements the day before Stimulating. But it really depends on the herbals since some persist in body for longer - if you can, tell the Doctors about all the herbals you are taking so they can advise you medically. Best wishes
Hi! I have PCOS too and found reading '8 Steps to Reverse your PCOS' very helpful. Don't recall any herbal medicines being mentioned but some very helpful lifestyle changes and they recommended taking myo-inositol, which really helped regulate my cycles and process sugar better in the run up to IVF. Very best of luck!
Hi. I have PCOS. I’m taking myo-inositol and have found it to be regulating my period. I joined a webinar about PCOS and it said that berberine is also a good supplement as well as magnesium and zinc. One of my friends has a friend who has PCOS and she sent me that attached list. She has two children. Tried 10 years for 1, but managed to conceive in a year with her second. Hope this helps and good luck x

Just seen this post and wanted to share a bit of a warning! I have PCOS and low progesterone (& short luteal phase). I read that the herb vitex / agnus castus could help boost progesterone production but it actually ended up stopping my ovulation! It was really scary, please be careful x
yes, it’s so hard to know as what works for one body can cause havoc on another! I’ve recently been advised to try myo inositol for PCOS but I’m a bit worried based on these past experiences …! X
