4w3d loss of symptoms

I am very early following IVF, never been pregnant before and my anxiety is through the roof. My tests are super strong with ‘dye stealers’ on pink dyes but I’m petrified of having a chemical and this has been made worse by loss of symptoms. I didn’t have many anyway but my boobs and nipples were very sore but today nothing, not even when I poke them. Is that a bad sign or can it come and go?

Hello! Congratulations on your pregnancy. I’m 7w1d and I know how it’s so easy to think the worst when there’s a sudden change. I found pain in my boobs definitely fluctuates. Sometimes it’s there and sometimes it isn’t. Focus on the strong test results and try not to worry too much. We just had our viability scan and that has helped alleviate a lot of the worry. It might also be worth phoning the clinic for further advice on symptoms for some reassurance. Xx

Hello! Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Symptoms can absolutely come and go, it’s very common in early pregnancy and I can totally relate. I had experienced exactly the same, try to relax and symptoms will come back in couple of days💖💖

Hello saw your post and did not want to read and run, although it’s a few days old now. Just wanted to say that my symptoms fluctuated and all was well. I did have private scans booked in between NHS ones that put my mind at ease. My fertility nurse also said to me unless you’re in pain and bleeding red, assume all is well! I kept repeating that up myself when I was in doubt and it helped me through. Once you have been through IVF it’s so hard not to analyse everything. Hopefully your scan is not too far away xx

Same here. I’m about 9 weeks and not had strong symptoms other than exhaustion and boob pain that fluctuates. I’ve had one NHS scan at 6 weeks, a private one this week with another private booked in two weeks ahead of my 13 week NHS scan . All good so far. For me, the private scans have helped with the anxiety of a lack of symptoms. I payed £40 and £75 for mine. Bargain for the peace of mind!!

I had a private 6 week scan yesterday because I couldn’t wait for my clinic one coming up next week and all good saw a little heartbeat. My symptoms seem to come and go no breast soreness at all at the moment but nausea has kicked in. Tiredness has been consistent though!

That’s great news. Congrats. It’s such an anxious time isn’t it. Yeah I’ve been tired since I started IVF. I can’t even remember what energy feels like 😂

Yay that’s great that you went and had it as it should help to make you feel better. You’ll probably be investing in quite a few extra private scans during this journey and they are worth every penny! X
