BFN again

Tested this morning on my test date (and also one day before - being yesterday as I waited as long as possible) and it's a very conclusive BFN.

This is our 7th transfer (with twins born on the 5th transfer), and we don't want to keep going through this endlessly. We have two frozen embryos, so when we feel up to going through this again, we will use those and then close the chapter on IVF.

It's such a devastating blow each time and such a massive ordeal to go through. But we persevere!

I started brown spotting on 8dp3dt and actual bleeding on 10dp3dt, so I'm wondering if maybe I wasn't on enough progesterone. Something to consider for next time.

BFN for me today too. Our last 2 embryos but lucky enough to have a son from a previous transfer. We’re done for now and excited to continue with our lives as a family of 3!

Sorry to hear that 😞. It's a sad outcome and difficult to accept, but congratulations on your son from a previous transfer and I'm happy for you to continue your lives as a family of 3.

Hi. Hope you’ve got plenty of support just now. When you’re recharged, bless you, make sure your Fallopian tubes are clear if not already done so, for any blockages. Thinking of you. Diane

Sorry to jump on this thread.

Can I ask why you need fallopian tubes to be clear when doing an fet?

Thanks!

Hi Daisy, I was informed that any fluid in the tubes causing a blockage could leak into the uterus which would impact implantation.
