NHS with previous private round

Hi all

My husband and I were diagnosed with unexplained infertility. We qualified for a cheaper rate ivf with a local private clinic so decided to go with them. 4 embryos transferred and all negative.

My local NHS Trust state they provide 2 rounds but 4 transfers in total. It also says they take private treatment into consideration.

Does this mean that because we've had 4 transfers privately we won't get NHS funding now? Or is it referring to something else?

Thanks you 😊

In a lot of NHS areas if you have had private treatment then you are ineligible for NHS treatment. It will depend on your areas particular criteria, but often yes that is what it means.
