Living with Rheumatoid Arthritis
I have now been diagnosed with Bronchiexstasis and Vitreomacular
Traction
and still get chest infections six weekly (funny as I take a long term antibiotic to stop them. At the beginning of this year I had to come off Embrel and I am just being treated with Hydroxychloraquin.

Tooth extraction on Apixaban
Hello to you all! I've to have a tooth taken out on Tuesday and was wondering if any of you had gone through this whilst on a Noac. My dentist advised not taking my morning tablet but then called me to say the latest guidelines said to take it as normal. I am already anxious about the actual extraction

Hip pain
I was then on
traction
at age 7 and discharged after that. I haven't had any investigatory work or check ups since then. I had a bout of what was diagnosed as bursitis age around 20 and some on-going aches in my hips (nothing severe).

IDD therapy
It's a bit like the old fashioned
traction
the NHS gave me many years ago but much more sophisticated and linked to a machine that calculates the amount of tension to apply. Its completely painless and I have to say that after the 2nd session I started feeling relief.

Tooth Extractions
I I have to have a tooth out probably, as the filling would be way below the gum, and any bleeding would apparently be difficult to stop. With an extraction the hole can be plugged and pressure applied. I have not had an extraction before, and am very nervous about it. I would possibly have gone for

Gutted gets to graduation
They say nothing in life is easy and working hard gets you to were you want to be. Well today after 9 tough weeks filled with wisdom tooth extractions, hot weather illness, hospital visits and never having run in my life, I have finally gone and done it without needing to stop once, Week 9 R3 ticked

Discouragement can take several forms: mostly comments are simply ignored, but for comments where consistency creates a little
traction
, the professionals dismiss them as being antidotal.

W8R1 - Trails but no tribulations
You do need trail shoes for this type of running, you can feel the improved
traction
and the much stiffer sole is a must for hard, rutted and uneven ground. With normal road shoes I would be very worried about twisting an ankle. All going well - 5 runs to go!

W7 r3 if I'm not in action I'm in traction
I must be setting a world record here for the longest time ever taken to complete this program. Im either going great guns or I'm laid out with a sporting injury. And that's roughly a three week cycle I'm noticing! The husband laughs at me but they are sporting injuries I promise. I was only away mountain

GCA diagnosed 3 weeks ago
This is all so new to me. Had a headache for 18 days, sore scalp, night sweats and sore jaw although thought this was because of a careless tooth extraction in July 2014. After seeing two different doctors, I was sent to A&E and was immediately diagnosed with GCA. No biopsy was done. Hospital put me

GERD - disappointing results from a trial of Endoscopic TIF versus PPI - recommends caution.
"A next-generation endoscopic fundoplication technique may improve outcomes, if equipped with a more solid suturing or stapling mechanism to better withstand intraabdominal
traction
forces and warrant durability," he said. Dr. Robert A.

Advice Please
Hi really appreciate being able to post here for advice as a bit of a learning curve on pred. Had my tooth extracted last week and didn't carry on with my reduction of 12mg to 11mg but aborted that, rested and took antibiotics. All went well although the tooth extraction was tricky as half had crumbled

Muscle weakness after tooth extraction. Thyroid or adrenal?
Hi Everyone, Yesterday I had a tooth extraction ( had three injections to numb me). Today I am feeling extremely tired and have muscle weakness in my arms and legs. Would this be a thyroid or adrenal thing? Thanks for any insight. Best wishes Carolineanne x
