Hello all

Would anyone here know if I were to have a tooth extraction ,would I need to come off mtx during in recovery/healing process?

Fab thanks reassuring to know I have only been on mtx for 6 mths didn't want to upset any progress I have made by having to stop xx

No need to come off it. Your dentist should have your full medical history, drugs etc, from the form you filled in when you registered. So make sure that's up to date. Hope it goes ok. Not pleasant😁

Hi, I had a tooth removed while I was in MTX with no problems!

Just remind your dentist that you are taking it and they may ask you to put pressure on the open cavity once it's out for a couple of extra minutes just to make sure it stops bleeding. Mine was absolutely fine !
