Removing implants!
I would appreciate hearing from anyone that has removed their implants or did not do reconstruction after mastectomy. I am considering removing my textured implant due to the talk of a new possible lymphoma derived from it. I only had one side done and I do not want to replace with another implant. How

Steroids and Weight Gain
Hello fellow survivors. I had OC last year, ascites twice, drains, chemo, major debulking and total hysterectomy then more chemo. Now on Avastin, have polymyalgia rheumatica which is excrutiating and osteoporosis. I've been on prednisolone for months, variable dose, but have gained almost 3 stone since

Hi, i'm new here.
Hi, I'm new here and I wanted to tell you that I'm 57 years old with RLS since I was 18 years old. I have been with Pramipexol for a few years and with high levels of ferritin / transferrin and every night the RLS does not forget me. Although thanks to Pramipexol I can sleep with quality. Breast implant associated small cell lymphoma!
I am wondering if anyone is confronted with this. I had a saline implant post mastectomy in 2012. I received a letter from my plastic surgeon stating that the FDA has put out new data stating that the texture of the implant, saline and silicone can lead to this new cancer which is not related to breast

TKR advice please.
Previously being in the building trade the cartilage in my knees has completely gone and I don't know if I should keep walking my normal amount or try to restrict movement as it's bone on bone. I was supposed to have had them done 5 years ago when the right knee still had a bit of cartliage. I'm in terrible

Iron Tests - Feedback Request
Have been taking 2 x 65mg Ferrous Fumarate with Vitamin C daily since November 2018, say 7 months. Unfortunately the tests are carried out from different labs in different countries that use different ref ranges. The iron doesn’t appear to be substantially improved ? Please let me have your feedback

In the current climate, how can I get help to trial T3 - if I am prepared to fund meds myself? Felt unwell for years on T4.
I'm 60 and have been on 100/125mg Levo for over 30 years. For the last two years following a serious accident and total knee replacement, I've had severe fatigue, massive weight gain, swollen legs/arms and breathlessness. Endocrinologist just says my body is 'in trauma' and prescribed anti-depressants

9 weeks post surgery...Endosalpingiosis
After a bit of advice ladies - I recovered well after laparascopy - had a lot of endometriosis removed. I’ve been subsequently diagnosed with adenomyosis and Endosalpingiosis. I had a really “normal” first cycle however this month it’s back to constant pain and bleeding - almost worse than pre surgery

Gaining weight on Levo
Hey everyone, first time posting: First a little backstory: Diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2002 at age 25, put on Levothyroxine and settled on 75mg/6 days a week. Was on this dosage for the years following. In August 2017 my endo told me that my hypo is autoimmune based so I started googling and found

Hi all, I need to first thank Eekt (thank you! thank you!), who brought this to my attention by posting an article on this site about 4 months ago regarding the links between breast implants and autoimmune diseases.
