Doctor phoning me this afternoon about other test for antibodies and cells

Serum transferrin 3.7g/L (1.8 - 3.8)

Serum ferritin 9ug/L (13 - 150) Low

Transferrin saturation index 8 (20 - 45) Low

Full blood count

Haemoglobin estimation 114 g/L (115 - 165) Low

Haematocrit 0.349 (0.37 - 0.47) Low

Mean corpusc haemoglobin (MCH) 25.4 pg (27 - 32) Low

Red blood cell distribut width 15.7 (9 - 15.5) High

Liver function test

Serum Albumin 51g/L (35 - 50) High

Vitamin D levels 29nmol/L <30 deficiency

My treatment

Prescribed - ferrous fumarate 305mg everyday

Bought myself - vitamin C - 1000mg everyday

Prescribed - tablet twice a week 20'000 IU

Bought myself - vitamin d3+k2 spray, boron and magnesium

Planning on taking a b12 supplement found one that has 1000mg and melts under tongue so might be good bypassing stomach. We'll see what doctors says when she phoned later

All looks like iron deficiency anaemia.

B12 and folate are nicely in the middle of the range.

Vit D not too far out for somebody living in the UK.
