NDT feeling terrible - latest results
Dear All, If anybody could offer advice I would be so grateful. I have been on NDT for 3 months now, and feel absolutely shocking! Started at 1 1/2 grains (switched from Levo after 8 1/2 years after Levo stopped working well)! After 4 weeks increased by 1/4 grain, then by another 1/4 grain. Aches

MIXING PRED WITH IBUPROFEN AND OMEPRASOLE
Saw my GP this morning for advice on knee flare up 11 weeks after total knee replacement. Advised I should go back to taking ibuprofen as that works well for my knee pain. Prescribed double dose of omeprasole which she assured me would not result in any gastric reflux. Took first with quite a bit of

I’m new here, my first post
I’ve recently had a total hysterectomy, and have hypothyroidism. In the last week I’ve started experiencing dizziness, numb upper lip, fatigue, ear ringing and general unwell ness. I’m guessing my hormones are colliding with a surgicallly induced menopause? Anyone experienced this and know of any good

Chemotherapy side effects
Hello once again. I'm due for my second perfusion of Cisplatin and Alimta (for stage IIa Non-small) this coming Monday. I suppose I will be able to discuss this with the nurses but it's hard to know who to talk to as everyone is in such a rush all the time. They say to report any side effects to

EP in Wales
I wonder if anyone can recommend a good EP/Cardiologist in South Wales. I moved to Wales about 18 months ago and have had several health issues since. Unfortunately I've been really disappointed - well actually appalled, at the NHS in Wales. I had an ablation about 2 plus years ago at Bristol

Endo after a hysterectomy
Has anyone experienced pain or gone on to have issues with endometriosis after a complete hysterectomy? I had an oophrectomy of the right ovary in Oct 2013, due to a massive cyst. This went on to develop further into stage four endometriosis and they also diagnosed adenomyosis and I had a full hysterectomy

Dumb question?
Has anyone, or some one you know, turned down curative total gastrectomy when offered? I know it is the only hope of a cure.

I’m a healthy 63 year old — but for the darn MBD dx June 2018! I still bicycle etc. When I was first diagnosed stage 2 with mastectomy in 2004, I prayed I’d see our daughter through high school. When I was diagnosed stage 3 in 2014, her first year of college, I was thrilled to watch her graduate last

Young mum with advanced gastric cancer, which was misdiagnosed for 7 months as I didn’t fit the profile of the average gastric cancer patient. Now going for PIPAC in Europe, which is aerosol chemo to the peritoneum with the objective of holding back peritoneal spread and potentially putting me back in

How do I know
I was diagnosed with stage IIIb lobular carcinoma in April of 2011. I had health insurance under the expanded Medicaid (thanks to the ACA) after 7 years of no coverage thanks to my pre-existing condition (thyroid cancer in 1999). I went through a lumpectomy followed by mastectomy, 6 months of chemo,
