Crying as I write this... can’t get the balance right. Please advice :’(
Hello kind community. I’m sorry I am here again after every blood test. My recent bloods were taken 6 weeks after the last, and you kind people suggested I tweak my meds as my T4 was 14% in range and my T3 at 40%. I have the DIO2 homozygous gene so have issues converting. I therefore upped my T3 from

Medichecks blood tests back. Any input and or advice please?
Hi guys, finally had the ultimate performance blood test done with medichecks, which is fairly extensive. Almost everything has come back as normal, which is great but also highly frustrating as there's still no rhyme or reason as to why I have all these symptoms and why my reflexologist is convinced

3 years after surgery
Hi Ladies, Just wanted to post an update nearly 3 years since I had a total hysterectomy and both ovaries removed and feel fantastic. It’s not all been plain sailing for me I had to have vertical incision due to the size of my degenerated fibroid mass I had a squashed kidney, my ovaries were removed

How do you cope with family indifference?
Hi my MPN family. To understand my question you will first have to understand my story. I have never been close to my siblings because of the way they treated our parents and how my parents care was left to me with no help from the others. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 and had a double

Thoughts on IVF success?
Just read an old post on here which suggests ladies who have first time success usually don't have problems themselves and is much more likely to lie with the guys. Started to get me worried. My OH has 2 children from his marriage then had a vasectomy. He has since had it reversed which has been successful

Confused about where or even if to start on an IVF journey
So I started thinking about Children 6 years ago when I was 37. We decided after lots of discussion to adopt. We went down that route but my partners daughter, gave us a terrible reference. She has never met me (her choice) and is mentally ill but apparently that still means we were rejected. Even though

Transferrin saturation index was tested and I’m confused!!
Hello I was wondering if anyone could help, I’ve had a couple of iron infusions and need to keep an eye on my levels Incase it’s needed again, normally I get my ferritin tested and one doctor said I need an iron infusion if I’m ferritin drops below 100, in the past few months it’s gone from 260 to 106

has anyone had a lap after total hysterectomy due to possible endo?
4 month after total hysterectomy, I explained a lot of groin pain, I pushed and saw my surgon several times tried different hrt, but didn't work, progestin helped a lot but pms and pain didn't settle, waiting for a lap next week but in doubt to do it, if they don't find any, I will feel stupid, crazy

Treatment
I’m curious how many with lobular breast cancer here are on Ibrance/Letrozole or other combinations and have not had any other therapy; i.e., mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation.

Life's ups and downs
Sometimes things chug along nicely and sometimes things gum up the works so that nothing goes right. Not sure where I'm at, at the moment but things could be better. The last week in June I put my house up for sale, the 3rd of July having found a lump in my breast i went to the walk in clinic

Extra cover for dental extraction
Hi. This is my first post and I need some advice. I’ve had PMR for just over three years and am currently taking 2.5mg pred. I also currently have raging tooth ache and although I am trying to deny it I’m pretty sure I am going to have to see a dentist and pretty sure they’ll want to extract it as I’

Are there alternatives to an epididymectomy?
I've had repeated episodes of left sided testicular pain due epididmytis. My urologist clears it up with Celebrex and/or antibiotics. I had a vasectomy in November 2018. The pain started up again 5 weeks ago. I'm on both medicines. The doc mentioned an epididymectomy. I'm wondering about the procedure

Blood test results for my Mom. Please may I ask for help reviewing them given her suspected heart attack some weeks back. Thankyou.
May I ask the expertly knowledgeable folk on this site to please assess my mothers recent blood tests results - post a suspected heart attack. We are in a very difficult situation. Our GP practice is deteriorating at a rate of knots! They are drastically short of doctors. The practice has quietly amalgamated
