Heavy feeling after radical hysterectomy

I had a total hysterectomy four weeks ago and my vagina now feels heavy. Dragging feeling. I’m worried it has prolapsed. Or is it too soon to tell. Does recovery and scar tissue feel heavy? Should I be worried. My follow up appointment isn’t for another three weeks. Has my vagina fallen? How do I tell? I’m so scared. It was cancer in uterus. I’m 46 years old. I don’t want my vagina to change.

Hi, I had a total hysterectomy last year, for endometrial cancer and had some strange sensations. I mentioned it to my consultant who told me it was perfectly normal. It takes quite a while to heal inside and for your other organs to re-bed themselves. If you're concerned, mention it to your consultant, that's what they're there for. I can't tell you not to worry, cause I know that's impossible, but you need to have your mind put at rest. Take care, its early days

It's quite normal. Top of your vagina us stitched up. I felt as if something was up there. It wears over over a few months.
