Increase in thyroxine
Hi all, After some advice please. With the approval of my doctor, I have just upped my thyroxine from 150 mcg a day to 175mcg, due to really heavy periods, currently on day 40, to see if an increase in medication will help as nothing else has so far. ( I’m on waiting list for a hysterectomy, but

1st post - Endo and adeno.
Hi all. My consultant told me yesterday that it looks like I have Endo and Adeno (with more Adeno than Endo). I can't seem to find very much info about Adeno. I've been struggling for the past few days with a very bloated tummy, loss of appetite, stomach pains and acid reflux. I'm struggling to even

Life Post Hysterectomy
So I had an abdominal hysterectomy with oophorectomy on the 1st of July. I am 6 weeks post-op. Pain on or around the wound is much better though its still a bit sore and hurts if Im sitting too long. Endopain is gone so far 🤞🤞 Struggling big time with energy levels. Have started transitioning back

Maybe in the wrong place....advice please
Hi everyone and many thanks in advance for your time. Apologies in advance if I am in the wrong place. Clutching at straws as feeling very unwell for last 18 months. I have recently been diagnosed with autoimmune thyroiditis/Hashimoto's but I have some abnormal blood test results that can't be explained

Post hysterectomy- endo and adenomyosis. Questions welcome!
Hi. So. My story starts like most. Painful, heavy periods but mine started when I was 13. I'm 41 now and was only 'officially' diagnosed with Endo in Feb 2020 after a lap during which they found an ovarian cyst so big it was touching my kidney. They found stage 4 endo all over the fallopian tube and

Zoladex and mirena removal - blood loss?
Due to this, my gynae and I are considering
total
hysterectomy
. As I am young, he has put me on zoladex with tibalone to see how my body copes with the HRT as I will need to take this for a prolonged period of time.

Endometriosis and ADHD !
Hey ladies. I am currently waiting for my first laposcopy. In horrendous pain at the mo following having the mirena removed after 10 months. Does hysterectomy and removal of endometriosis elsewhere ever bring relief from symptoms?
Is it possible to get relief from symptoms with a hysterectomy combined with removal of endometriosis from elsewhere with a surgeon who has a lot of experience in this area? It’s an option I have but I’m not managing to find any posts about positive outcomes. I’m not sure if that’s because it doesn’t

The constant pain is making me so low
I’m in the uk and suffering with chronic abdominal pain, following a loooong time with undiagnosed endo and a hysterectomy in 2019. The GP has supposedly tried everything and since I decided not to continue taking pregabalin, they have given up on me. I have a referral to the pain management clinic (

Granulosa cell tumour - chemo advice
Hi all, I've recently been diagnosed with granulosa cell tumour, after a large 'cyst' was found on my left ovary. Can anyone help with getting my post read as I’ve sent it twice and had no responses. I’d just like some levo advice please
I’d so appreciate your comments because I’ve been managing Hashimoto’s with glandulars only so I’m a bit nervous about taking levo I’ve précised the post once as I thought perhaps it was ignored because it was rambling and unreadable. If this is the case with this third attempt please just say so The

Tranexamic acid - any advice?
In short, I have endo & adeno and am currently treatment free whilst waiting for a hysterectomy (I'm 45). My periods are pretty heavy and painful and a doctor has suggested trying Tranexamic acid for a few months. I just wondered if anyone else has tried this in a similar situation and did it work? Thanks

Your thoughts please on suggested levo and thyroid glandular regime
I’ve been complaining for ever about static weight, sleep issues and other niggles but since metavive had nucleotides added I noticed more niggles (or an exacerbation of) and actual weight gain and so I had to decrease the dose to the point where they just weren’t enough A few weeks ago I began phasing
