Endometriosis, adhesions and struggling to work.
Hi everyone, I’ve been off work sick for the last week with constant abdominal and lower back pain made worse when sitting. I suffer with my bowels and long periods and have spent the past two years trying different ways of resolving my issues. My job involves me spending hours on the phone so no alternative

Hydronephrosis
Ultrasound shows bilateral hydronephrosis. Also my bladder was not emptying. I had a Ureteroscopy done with a stent put in for two weeks as I had two .4 cm stones to pass. The stent was taken out 2 weeks ago, but I'm still having lot of bad flank pain on both sides plus under both sides of my front

Laparoscopic hysterectomy wait times
Does anyone know the current waiting time for a laparoscopic hysterectomy? Finally had a gynae consultant appointment who listened to me and referred back to the hospital for a hysterectomy but clearly at the very early stages. Anyone got any idea? I’m in Staffordshire. Thank you 🙏

Iron blood levels
Results of blood tests: receptionist had told me some of my results were low but GP had advised no treatment required. I am 71 under active thyroid but these results were all fine. At present I’m breathless coping with stairs or slight incline in streets and my hair is really thinning on top. I’m on

Is there a way to prevent haemolysis of finger prick blood draws?
Not greatly important, but interested in your thoughts. This has happened to me only 2 times over the past few years, and one of those times I delayed sending the kit back by a day (I was new to taking home tests then) so understandable. But this month it has happened twice in a row whilst trying to

Help with bloods please including iron levels.
Bloods taken last week in the morning before Levo or any other medication at 8.50 in the morning. I’m currently taking 200mcg and 212.5mcg alternative days. As Aristo brand. Still getting a few palps and still very tired. Would I benefit from t3 if so why as need support as endo not wanting me to take

How long is the current surgery waiting list?
Has anyone on the hysterectomy waiting list had any updates or inclination of when their surgery might be? I feel like life is on hold until I get a date because I dont want to not be free for it.

Sertraline for menopause
I was diagnosed with a borderline tumour in June 21 following a
total
abdominal
hysterectomy
. My consultant doesn't want me to take oestrogen so HRT is out of equation. My GP has prescribed Sertraline for flushes. I started them today and have had nausea and a little bit of running to loo.

MRI diagnosis?
How likely is it that bowel endo will show up on an mri? I had a colon ct that’s apparently clear so now they are suggesting an mri. I have constipation then diarrhoea and blood and mucus on my stools and very bad right sided pain. Have had hysterectomy with ovaries left in and further excision on right

What to expect after surgery
Hi all, I’m due to have excision surgery and hysterectomy next month with a BSGE accredited surgeon at a private hospital and wondering what happens afterwards. I’m scheduled for a 2 night stay but beyond that I have no idea what to expect. If anyone has any experience of this I’d love to know a bit

Finally more thyroid results! Is this Hashi's?
Hi everyone, Thank you again so much for your input on my last post (https://healthunlocked.com/thyroiduk/posts/147096003/results-advice-please). I now have an update. I told my doctor when I saw him that I seem to have most of the symptoms of Hashimoto's and that my mum and cousin have this and asked

Myofascial Release Therapy - anyone?
Hi. I’ve had full hysterectomy and endo removal 3 months ago. I’m still having the tightness down my left side and thigh. My amazing women’s health physio said it will be left over tension in the fascia from years of endo. Has anyone specifically had Myofascial Release therapy to help with leftover endo
