Hi. I joined this group because I really need help and advice on how to deal with my health issue and the fact I feel I am not being taken seriously. Throughout my life I've had periods of anxiety and depression, but have otherwise been pretty healthy all in all. About 4 or 5 years ago I began to notice

How are my bloods, please?
Hello Have been on T3 for the last few weeks. Half a tablet a day. Plus 150 mcg levothyroxine, which was my usual levo dose before the endo added in T3. And here are my results: Ferritin - 10 (13-150) [LOW] My GP says, on this result, “just out of normal range”. TSH - 0.61 (0.27-4.2) Before

start levothyroxine or work on vitamin levels?
Went to the doctor in September 2022 with symptoms of hair loss, fatigue and feeling cold. ( am a 36 year old female) Bloods were done and was told everything was OK. The hair loss was most concerning so I spoke with another doctor who reviewed my bloods who said thyroid levels were on the high side

Body identical oestrogen
Hi, could someone tell me the names of body identical HRT oestrogen? I need to go on a low dose oestrogen (patch or gel?) but I'd like it to be body identical as I also need to go on a body identical progesterone which I know it's called Utrogestan. Thank you!

Hip Replacement with PMR and PAD at age 84
A month and a half ago I was in the hospital for four days. Less complicated cases were released the same day or the next. During the second day a nurse accidentally pulled on my leg when attempting to place me back in bed after a bathroom visit. I also hurt myself getting into the bed another time

Advice on ACTH and thyroid results please
I had a '2nd opinion' visit to an NHS endo on 24/8/22. I specifically asked the endo to comprehensively test my pituitary function, as I think that's where my problems are located (low thyroid and cortisol). She did a lot of blood tests and an ACTH test. After a fair bit of chasing up I've now been copied

Does anyone know and take soya FREE Hrt?
I have been prescribed a combined HRT for osteoporosis as I am going through the menopause. To my disappointment, I have found that it contains soya based ingredients. As I have hashi's and don't do well when soya is eaten over time, I am reluctant to start it, but concerned about long term effects of
