Fostair hot flushes?
Newbie still, so lots of questions, sorry! I’m having lots of hot flushes - am taking Fostair 200/6 two puffs in am and pm. Are the meds affecting my HRT meds (anything I can do about that?) or is it just the steroid effect to add into the racing heart and shaking hands?

Experiences of coming off zoladex or other long term hormonal treatments to conceive? Please help.
Hi there I am 31 and was diagnosed with severe stage 4 endometriosis at 17. I've been on zoladex for nearly the whole time since diagnosis add back HRT and regular bone scans. Despite zoladex I've had a lot of pain, and have had surgery 5 times and each time endo has been extensive, so although zoladex

Has anyone ever had an Iron infusion?
Having suffered from underactive thyroid for years and taking Levothyroxine with mixed results, I also suffer from low iron and ferritin and Vitamin D. I find it hard to get my levels of iron up despite eating red meat and green veg and supplementing, and wondered if anyone had tried an iron infusion

Diagnosis of Sigmoid volvulus 3 weeks ago and an emergency operation via colon righted it temporarily.
I am recovering slowly from the shock of the above diagnosis. The surgeon said he will have to do a major abdominal operation (which he is reluctant to do whilst I am on Prednisolone, I was on 6 mg 3 weeks ago but now on 5mg) as healing and infection could be post operative problems. So I saw my Rheumatologist

Codeine
Hi Does anyone have experience with codeine based products? I have RLS, just about managing through Fe and Mg tablets. I have been suffering with severe bouts of pain, in particular at night time, and have discovered that I need two hip replacements due to osteoarthritis. I took a codeine based product

Not a flare, but RA of the hands
I've had PMR since March 2019, managed with Prednisone and Leflunamide. After a slow taper to 3.mg, my hands started swelling last August and were so stiff and painful that I could hardly use them. As I have mild carpal tunnel syndrome, I contacted my hand surgeon at Kingston hospital and got an appointment

worried about thyroidectomy
hi everyone, I’m new here’ but not new to thyroid issues unfortunately. I got diagnosed with graves in 2017 after the birth of my first baby. Since then I have had countless relapses, they’ve all been managed with Carbimazole/ptu but as time goes on the time between relapses is getting way shorter and

steroids and hip replacement surgery
I’m on steroids for PMR and have had to go back up to 15 for a flare. I’m due to have a hip replacement hopefully in the next couple of months. My question is will it still go ahead while I’m on them.?

Low UIBC result from bloodwork?
Hi, All. I had bloodwork done recently and I'm wondering if anyone knows if the low UIBC might be affecting my RLS/PLMD. Ferritin was 169 (down from very high values after a blood infusion for rls in April 2021). The UIBC was flagged as Low at 126, Iron Saturation was flagged as high: Iron 172 UIBC

Advice please. Not sure how to proceed.
I am 49 and have Hashimoto's and have spent the last two years trying to find a doctor to properly treat my thyroid and help get to the root of the thyroid dysfunction. Last fall I learned I have mold and I am going through a mold protocol. My compounded NDT has been adjusted in dribs and drabs over

anxiety
Hi there to all fellow sufferers. I was wondering if anyone out there has suffered with anxiety and depression in the past not due to perimenopause. I am 52 and suffered bouts of clinical depression and anxiety on and off for many years. I’ve had the majority of perimenopause symptoms for a few years

HRT shortages after oophorectomy
Hi everyone How is everyone coping, what have you done around the HRT shortages? For me it's the utrogestan, I paid for it back in February and was given 30 days worth (should have been 90). But they haven't had any in stock since. I am starting to get concerned about endo growing back, and how quickly
