😭 😩 🤮I have been taking it for 10 yrs. It has helped me with depression and I never ever have pain. I've had a hip replacement and been in multiple crashes over the years. I'm 51 yr old female. But.....when I tried to stop taking it I had withdrawal symptoms the same as my lil brother and he was detoxing from opoids.

Ouch that's a long time. You haven't said why you want to stop ot if your GP is helping.
What dose are you taking?.
Never go cold turkey.
is recommended to reduce your dosage at a rate of 10% per month. If you are able to tolerate 10% easily, then you could increase the speed to 15% or 20% – but proceed with caution. If 10% seems like too quick of a taper, you can adjust and go with 5-10% reductions for awhile. Do whatever works best for you, realizing that you are going to inevitably experience some symptoms.
