Struggling with week 8
I am completing week 8 run 2 and I've been exhausted this week. I've bought some electrolyte tablets and found they helped on the first run of thus week. I have been overheating and actually felt a little sick after a run last week due to having to do evening runs and the humidity. Anyone else running

Hi, I have just had the results of my blood test and they are all within the normal range which is obviously great news but not so great as to knowing why I’m feeling so tired, aching, gut issues and cramping, brain fog. Could any of you lovely people just take a look and see why I maybe feeling like

had an appt this morning about gut/urgency issues and finally got round to asking what my very first TSH reading was, in August 2021, 3 months post hip replacement surgery. My understanding was that I was borderline - I didn’t even know what that was! I was retested six weeks later and a bit higher,

1. I attended my 1st PC in 2012 (Cambridge) following spinal decompression which was successful but I also had fibromyalgia. 2. Transferred to 2nd Peterborough PC due to travel problems. Sat through excruciatingly painful group sessions relating to the Biopsychosocial Model and Mindfulness. Course

Pain Relief
I have posted before regarding Scleroderma and Raynauds and the problems which relate to this. I have osteoarthritis in my knees and they are so very painful. I was coping with the help of steroid injections, paracetamol and Ibuprofen however steroid injections are now limited with less relief and

Happy New Year
I'm well and coming up to first anniversary of total hysterectomy for grade 1b ovarian cancer. No treatment just 3 monthly follow ups with CA125. I am very emotional and feeling like a bit of a fraud for not just being very grateful that I am still here. Thanks

Medical Cannabis?
Has anyone tried medical cannabis for pain relief? I have severe arthritis which limits my life quite a lot, my doctor won’t refer me for knee replacement until I lose more weight, and being on Rux has meant more weight gain! Obviously will need to ask haematologist about. It is quite expensive and

First appointment with nhs Rheumy
Hi, I had my first nhs appointment with the Rheumy who is based at the same health centre as the one I have seen privately. He did say to me that he was aware that I had seen one, I had already had my bloods done prior to the appointment. He said my RF was 170 which is high, he gave me two booklets

Two years post mini maze (surgical ablation).
How on earth is that 2 years since being down in London taking that step into the unknown of having surgical ablation, hoping for a good result, knowing research said I had a good chance, but like everything it’s not guaranteed. Sharing my experience on here with you all each step of the way. Well

Post op full knee replacement questions
I had total knee replacement 11 days ago. What exercises should I be doing? Knee is v swollen, v painful! I'm trying to walk little bits throughout the day with crutches. Bending the knee is agony due to swelling.Seeing physio end of next week. They didn't give me any exercises when leaving hospital.

A bit shell shocked by Hysterectomy recommendation
I was originally diagnosed with Endo in 2007 after a diagnostic laparoscopy. In 2015 my symptoms started to rear up again but I kept putting off going to see someone. Last year the heavy bleeding and pain got so bad I went private to see someone and had a further laparoscopy in December 2023. During

Knee Replacement Yesterday
Thanks to those of you who wished me well yesterday. I had full knee replacement surgery yesterday afternoon. On the advice of the surgical team I had my normal dose of Prednisolone in the morning.
