Tonsillitis and asthma
Hello, My 5 year old has
tonsillitis
, ear infection, cold and asthma flair up. Seems to get all at the same time, this one is particularly nasty. Does removing tonsils help? So much responsibility with meds etc really feel useless and overwhelmed!

Hello again! Update...
My situation hasn't changed, I'm still down in the dumps with the lovely
tonsillitis
to make me feel even more crap!:) I had my 2nd CAMHS appointment last Wednesday, it went well. We did a bit of CBT in child form lol...

I'm here again in this dark place, struggling already from
tonsillitis
and trying to cope with everything else going on, as well as my own personal issues. Have you ever felt so stressed and frustrated you feel you could fall down and stop breathing any moment?

Hi my little boy suffers from asthma recently it has been much better controlled, than previous years (he is just 9) all of a sudden he started to get
tonsillitis
lasting week upon weeks at a time, whilst his asthma stayed in control, then out of the blue, I picked him up from school in a right mess

New with Lupus - well we think - any ideas or thoughts ?
I am also entering
Tonsillitis
season ! The new doc I saw was great, he said straight off the bat, I am wondering if you have Lupus, something I wondered myself, he arranged the Anti dsDNA and is going to refer me to our leading Rhumie in the area (well I hope if not I will go privately).

Frustrated and confused!!!
Since last October my immune system has been so low, I have had bronchitis twice, laringitis, asthma, ear infection,
tonsillitis
and needed so many antibiotics and steroids. I am really not sure if this is connected with everything else!

Decoding Medical Aid Speak
JO3.9 is an ICD-10 code for acute
tonsillitis
(unspecified). When you join a medical scheme, you choose and pay for a specific benefit option that contains a basket of services that often has limits on the health services that will be paid for.

After getting
tonsillitis
this week, I didn't think I'd be able to finish this week off, but I pushed myself out for the last run and feel super. Looking forward to week 4.

Missing Running due to illness.
Hi, I've just got over
tonsillitis
and thankfully I didn't miss any running time, I forced myself out... lol. But I just wondered if I couldn't actually run, would you just restart the week you were on once you felt better? Or would just carry on from where you left off?

When u first took symtpms of pbc/ when you were diagnosesd with pbc did you have any viruses or infections/ been through any recent trauma?
When I first suffered with symptoms that lead to my diagnosis of pbc I had two really bad doses of
tonsillitis
due I feel ,to fact I'd was going through a very stressful time in my life. I just wonder if anyone else feels this was the case with them too?
