Is it possible that using a nebuliser could give me tonsillitis? Thanks

I use a nebuliser twice a day and it doesn't cause any problems. Scientifically I know of no reasons why it should cause tonsillitis. Why not ring the help line.

Not heard of that but do you have a mouthpiece or a mask over the mouth and nose? Always make sure either are washed and rinsed thoroughly each day. Otherwise, check with your doctor or nurse. Good luck. xx

Thanks all. I use a mouthpiece and must confess to not having changed the pipes for some time! I only use the nebuliser when really rough but the last two times I've got tonsillitis so wondered if there might be a link but its probably just that I'm run down though I've never previously had much trouble with tonsillitis

Old age creeping up on me I expect! ;-)
