Noisy painful joints
Hi all. So happy to find this forum it's wonderful! I'm at the start of my thyroid journey, think it's going to be a long road ahead.... I've started taking a few supplements to help with certain symptoms, iron for anemia and b12 but the thing I'm not sure is for my joints. They are awfully noisy

IBS advise
Hi, Bit of history. Diagnosed with IBS when I was 15 and I'm now 38. At 19 after lots of pains etc and a laparoscopy to see if it was gynae related, which was clear, i saw a food intolerance lady. Main culprits wheat, caffeine and citrus. Cut them out and yep much better. The main culprit was wheat

T3 the answer?
My endocrinologist is about to start me on a trial of T3 combined with my levothyroxine, and I wondered if anybody else had some experience of this? I'm hoping this is the end to my problems... Some background info: I'm male in my 20s. Diagnosed with Hashimoto's in August last year. TSH was over

Ginger tummy rub for pain
Hi lovely ladies, Just thought I'd pass this on for anyone suffering from cramps, period pains and, well any pain from inflammation. Works if you have lower back pain too. Gently rub a little oil on your tummy - the best is sesame, but who has that to hand readily in their cupboards, so a little olive

My endo story - there is hope
I am now 50 years old! From the age of 16 I was stuck on the Pill by the doctor to regulate and ease my heavy periods (I didn't need it as a contraception as I had no interest in sex then!) I was on it constantly for 6 years before deciding to stop taking it. I was in and out of doctors with the pain

vitamin B complex
I am a vegetarian and I take a vitamin B complex every day and also sevenseas "active" omega 3 fish oil for my joints, but I guess it should benefit more than that. I avoid taking cod liver oil as a doctor once told me it was high in cholesterol, which surprised and concerned me as it is so widely

Just wanted to let you know there is hope.
Hi, I posted earlier this year to let you all know not to give up on your wellness journey. I have seen my specialist again and they were amazed at how well I was doing. I'm now on 75mg of T4 and still 20mg of T3 as 100mg T4 was too high. But the best thing is I have lost loads of weight! I agree with

In a recent post “Is there a natural aspirin alternative?” was the following comment by Dave1961. I added a comment but did not get much feedback so please excuse me for posting this again in the hopes of getting more. Dave1961 comment -- The following is an article I found which does a great job
