Tirosint
Its been 10.5 months since my thyroidectomy. I was at .69 TSH on levothyroxine 100 mgs a day with mega side effects. Doctors just switched me Tirosint 88 mgs a day. Am I to expect more serious changes, again. I lost my voice, got chubby, lost hair, aged, and more. Its been a life-changing experience

Red Eye Update
Hi,I posted a few days ago about keep having a bloodshot eye. Now on 4th since the beginning of the month!! Or maybe they never actually completely go in the first place, only disappear from the visible part of my eye? I went to the MEC clinic at Specsavers and after various tests and examining my eyes

Had MDD since childhood. Now I have anxiety and panic attacks. I have tried just about every kind of medication and therapy. Nothing helps much. Anyone ever get EMDR for PTSd or hypnotherapy for core beliefs that are negative? I never feel good enough.

Hi everyone. I have been doing spooky paintings but - I am having drops in my eyes for Conjunctivitis- Age-related macular degeneration in my right eye. I was supposed to have injection in my eye last Monday but - Nurse said what's than "gunk" in you eyes? - It was Conjunctivitis I think but so she

Trust Issues
The older doctor in my GP practice, that I have known for years and trusted, lied to me the other day and I have no faith in him any more. I had an eye infection a few weeks ago, which I put down to hay fever. I was prescribed Chloramphenicol, but the infection took a while to clear as the instructions

Got a job interview. Plus my top 3 choice for therapists in my homecity. Overthinking the decisions
Okay so yesterday was a mayhem. Mom decided to clean while she's off work and got the house upside down, before that the night before that telling sis over and over again to drink water and telling me to tell her. Sis was avoiding me, asked me to stay in the car instead in the café with her, yelled at

Dry mouth and throat
I have a constantly dry throat and meds, probably from meds. Other than carrying water around with me whenever I go out, or a constant supply of cough sweets, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Had headache, fell asleep, had nightmares about dad, woke up panicking, searched therapists and psychiatrists but i can't choose nor pay, texted my ex, he said he's going back to the Netherlands next week. Almost puked. Mom came home, stressed. I wonder whether to travel to see him for the last time

Update on painful buttocks and thighs
My rheumatologist requested a CRP test for me yesterday, and it was below 3, low normal range. As I think back, I may have over done it four days in a row, and this may just be very sore muscles. My mother would have called it being “lame.” I have been taking it very easy the last couple days and

Is it the Medication or am I Losing it?
Do you do daft things? This morning I picked up my toothbrush and instead of putting toothpaste on it picked up a tube of face wash cream and spread that on my toothbrush, as soon as the brush went in my mouth I knew what I'd done. Last week I took a carton of orange juice out of the fridge and poured

Hydroxychloroquine not made a difference
Hi there, I have undifferentiated connective tissue disease and sjogrens syndrome. I just wondered if anyone else found hydroxychloroquine didnt help them? There was no difference for me but I continued under the guidance of my rheumatologist and have now come off of it as am trying a different medication

does it ever completely go away?
I had a medical procedure that was in itself very traumatic and also reactivated a childhood trauma. I have been in CBT for 2 1/2 years and recently started EMDR. I want this all to just go away! However, as in the case of the childhood trauma, which I thought had been dealt with, I fear I will always

Cataract removal
I had a cataract removed on Friday last and make the stupid mistake of putting the wrong post op drops in my eye. I had to ring the emergency services and between them and my daughter I managed to get to the emergency room. They sluiced my eye out after administering antiseptic and rang the consultant
