Propafenone Back!!!

JimF here in the U.S. A while back I posted regarding the critical shortages of Propafenone, which then bled over to shortages of Flecainide and Tikosyn.......which may continue until February.

I'm happy to say that my 90 day supply of propafenone has just been refilled by my pharmacy, a truly "thank you Jesus" moment!

Apparently the critical shortage of same is mainly affecting the Canadian health systems, and the temporary shortage for me was just a local issue, within the pharmacy warehousing system.

Sorry for causing any unneeded angst, but I can tell you I was plenty worried as I watched my dwindling supply of medication!

These so called shortages are merely logistic problems in most cases. Happens all over the world as one company switch production to a different drug. If all happen to do so at the same time it can be tricky. lol 😁
