Low Dose Levothyroxine Reduces Intrahepatic Lipid Content in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and NAFLD
I just don't know where to begin with this paper! Maybe by noting that there are more authors than there were subjects! Then by highlighting that they targetted a TSH range of 0.34 to 1.70. But in the abstract no consideration that the subjects might not actually have been euthyroid. And that all too

DNA Testing
I did a DNA test for my PD dad back in February (around the time he had worsening dementia) and got the results back recently. There's a section on neurotransmitters, ie dopamine, norepinephrine etc and shows he has risks with Parkinsons. Not sure how accurate these tests are, obviously no idea what

Is there any replacement to metformin to get around B12 issue with it?
I have been on metformin for about 11 to 12 years. Recently, my B12 readings are less than normal. Read metformin causes B12 deficiency. For the last few years, I have been taking meformin 250mg 3 times a day right after meal. My latest Hba1c is 5.02. Average glucose (MBG i think) is 97. FBS is 97. Please

PPBS lesser than FBS
I recently got my blood checked. My fasting blood sugar was 128 and PP was 116. This is my first test and I'm confused about this. More I read up, I don't see a case where PP was less than FBS. Could someone please advise?

PreDiabetic
Hello all, This is my first post as I've just been diagnosed pre-diabetic. I have a lot of type 2 in the family. I'm male, 68, fit, not overweight, good balanced diet, don't drink, don't smoke. I was put on Sukkarto 500mg x 1 a day last week, and feel a bit funny sometimes. Guess that's my sugar level

Is Bionic pancreas the solution?
May be a bit overthinking , as a pre-diabetic, have been hearing a lot about the bionic pancreas closed loop systems all over the internet. Seems it is targetted for chronic or type1 diabetics. But it can be a hope for all. Just like the discovery of Insulin, this will change the way people manage this

Qualified doctor for treating Type II Diabetes
Can somebody advise me which doctor should I approach for my Type II diabetes treatment? It looks like every Tom, Dick & Harry is thinking that they can treat diabetes. I am saying so because I met couple of doctors who created doubts in my mind. Despite of my efforts, my sugar level is not coming down
