In pain
Every month when I get my period im in tears, it feels like I have labor pain. I have been to the emergency every time cos I also have very big lumps of blood coming out. The doctors say its normal and give me pain medication but the pain don't go away. Has anyone else tried this?

Some unexpected good news
I have also had problems with
tendonitis
, gout and pain around the rib cage. Despite all this I have managed to stay active and regain my former weight. I recently reduced to 3.5 mg using the dead slow method but I began to feel as if I would have to increase again.

Final foot injury update!
Yes, folks, I reckon I can confidently say I'm over my achilles injury. It's just an occasional dull ache now, and I've run four times since I started back, though I was surprised how hard it was to get running again. I had a very gentle 3k run last Thursday, concentrating very hard on not unduly stressing

Activities that help with joint pain?
I currently have a diagnosis of
tendonitis
for my wrist, and past ankle pain has been put down to being flat-footed, although the pain did cease and has come back, and my feet don't seemed to be that bad in that regards so I wouldn't necessarily say it is definitely due to that.

Foot injury update!
It's Achilles
tendonitis
. Apparently this is caused by micro-tears in the tendon, and is a repetitive strain type injury that can develop over time, and can emerge randomly like mine did, and not suddenly during running or turning ones heel over.

Good to talk about couch25k. Just started last week had to stop this week due to stiffness and pain in my right heel and tendons. I really want to get back to it. Does anyone have any advice?

New 5k PB of 40 minutes
I went out last Thursday evening and managed a new 5K PB of 40 minutes. I'm really chuffed with this. I graduated in April 2014 and have since then been running 3 times most weeks. I'm writing about it here because I know that some folk worry as they get to the end of the programme that they are not

reducing pred after an operation
I had my second Cochlear implant two days ago. Taking painkillers so not aware of any PMR increase in pain. I did not start reducing to 10mg before the op and wondered when would people suggest I start reducing the pred again.

Dermal filler injections with an autoimmune thyroid disorder
Does anyone know if it's safe to have facial hyaluronic acid wrinkle filler injections like Juvederm or Restylane if one has an autoimmune thyroid disorder (Hashimoto's in my case)? If you had them done, could you please share your experience? Did your antibodies rise as a result or any negative effect

Hello, my first post so bear with me please. Feel ill, dropping asleep, panicky feelings increased ( take cipralex for that) aches in muscles and bones. Can hardly pick anything up so exhausted allthe time.Have bouts of unreality feelings - sort of brain fog/lightheaded. Cold and shivery allthe time.

Not all pain down to hypothyroidism!
Following an x-ray, the consultant diagnosed acute
tendonitis
with a large bursar. He organised a later ultrasound appointment to do a guided steroid injection from which I have just returned.

Hashmotos and swelling in legs
Although I live in US I have read many posts here re this problem. I have been bothered my this for too many years and dr cant seem to help. Sometimes I get pain in calf of leg that I cant walk. I swear it has something to do with the lymph nodes and or the thyroid meds now on 150 mg of tirosint.

Working up to 10
Though I've been quiet, I've continued to run. I've settled into a weekly routine of doing one day of solid 5k, one day of the speed podcast and one day of a slower long run (my previous best distance plus a bit). I'm hoping this will allow me to work up to 10k at a reasonable speed. I'm up to 8k now

New shoes and completing W3R2 as my first early morning run :)
First and foremost, as promised, I have included a picture of my lovely new shoes :) They seem to be really helping as I've had no knee pain while running and the shin pain I was getting when I walked has stopped (although they now feel tight from running and dog walking which I'm working on, but that

I feel like my body is betraying me
And now I've just had to abandon my first run of week 5 half way through, due to pain in my heel which I fear might be Achilles
tendonitis
. The thing is, I don't understand why this is happening.
