Hello everyone
My fibro has caused severe
tendonitis
in my hips, knees and left Achilles, the pain in my hips is now so bad I can barely walk or even move without wanting to cry. My GP won't give me any more than tramadol and I'm being passed from one consultant to another.

The Results are in!! Persistant symptoms inc: Really tight muscles and subsequently sore tendons that don't heal...Hairloss, headaches etc..
Over the last 8 months I noticed that I was starting to get ankle problems from the running, first it was painful tendons, like
tendonitis
that wouldn’t heal. Then my muscles in my legs started to feel really really tight and painful. No amount of hot baths, massages, tiger balm etc helped.

Retaining cardio on holiday
Hi there, thought as I was looking for inspiration from others thinking of starting running, that I should post a beif but honest post myself... I’m a cyclist though and through just to be clear, however this Holliday I promised my wife (well more made to tbh), that I’d not hire a bike and disappear

Graduated finally tonight 😁😁 me hubby and Snoop dog. And I’m feeling fantastically giddy 😁😁. This was my second attempt at c25k. I gave up in wk 6 last year, after ending up with Achilles tendinitis and plantar fasciitis. I just couldn’t manage it! A year on, after therapy sessions, acupuncture,

Injury Made Worse by Flare?
I have been diagnosed by an ortho with shoulder
tendonitis
and had my first physical therapy session yesterday, which made it worse. The intermittent pain is actually in both shoulders, but I am right handed, so the really painful injury occurred on the right side.

Achillies tendon injury 😡
Hi there, this is my first post but could do with a bit of advise... I started getting some achillies tendon pain about a 6 weeks ago but continued with the C25K plan. I completed week 8 as didn't want to be beaten but then stopped running as the injury had not improved and if anything was getting

My 4 year runniversary.
I have no idea why I continued with running, must have already been hooked...achilles
tendonitis
followed, with plantar fasciitis close on it's heels (see what I did there?), a poisoning with mis-prescibed prescription drugs.. and this years new friend who is always on my shoulder, cancer.

Soft Tissue Injury
It's been 8 months since I last ran, I was two runs away from graduation but suddenly overnight after a 30 minute run on the treadmill, I developed a left inner ankle pain and stiffness which has just stopped me in my tracks! It's been a very long road so far, but several Gp appointments, a Private

Little Steps
Prior to my bariatric surgery I was walking 5K per day. Post operation (2nd week) and I'm building up my walking again with commuting to walk. Looking at running my first 5K by autumn 2018.

Sad times..... foot injury
I haven’t run for 10 days. I woke up one morning and the ball of my foot / big toe has been incredibly painful, I have been taking paracetamol & limping. It’s starting to ease up but I’m really missing the hogs 😩 Really hope I can get out soon - highly doubt I can jog for 5k thou 🙄

Ankle - update!
So, it’s just over 3 weeks since I graduated from C25K (yey!) but unfortunately the next morning I developed terrible ankle pain (boo). I’ve rested and it has improved but when I tried to run again after 2 weeks it flared. So I’ve seen a Physiotherapist today and the good news is that it’s nothing serious

W1R1 (again!!)
Yes, again!! You may ask why? Well, I first did W1R1 way back during the first week in January and got as far as W3R1. Then my achilles heel popped, and how!! It's taken over six months of intensive physio and exercises to be given the all clear. That was just before going on holiday three weeks ago.

Could I have Fibromyalgia?
I'll just mention that I have Restless Leg Syndrome, IBS and bad
tendonitis
in one ankle too, but I had them long before this problem. If anyone could throw any light on this I'd be most grateful - thanks! P.S.

Achilles Tendonitis
Unfortunately after playing cricket on Saturday I've now suffered a pretty bad dose of
tendonitis
in the left ankle (unable to walk for 24 hours bad). Anyhow been to the GP who has recommended I take a few weeks rest from the running and turn to cycling, swimming until recovered.

W3R2 - Good morning heron, run in new shoes
Recently, my
tendonitis
in left foot started to remind me that it's there. Which mean that different lacing my super running shoes didn't help :( I was very unhappy about it. But fortunately I have another running shoes that I bought as a change shoes for my wedding.

Oh dear, more kit
So, I saw a bargain on the Adidas website and bagged myself a really lightweight running jacket ready for when the heatwave ends and normal British summer resumes. It’s mainly white with a bit of grey and some reflective bits, so should be good in the dark. It arrived earlier in the week. And then
