Yes, again!! You may ask why? Well, I first did W1R1 way back during the first week in January and got as far as W3R1. Then my achilles heel popped, and how!! It's taken over six months of intensive physio and exercises to be given the all clear. That was just before going on holiday three weeks ago. I delayed starting up again till this evening, giving myself a clear, nine-week period ahead.
Glad to report NO ADVERSE REACTION from my achilles , so hopefully, it's full steam ahead.
Glad to be back after a long, frustrating lay off. Graduation, here I come, fingers crossed. Watch this space

I’ve never popped my Achilles but I can imagine the pain. Good for you for recuperating properly, and welcome back to C25K where we’ll look forward to hearing your progress!
I am just not able to run in this heat! But I am going out now and again and the last run I did (9 days ago) was 6km. So I think I’m still in control and still much fitter than I used to be. I haven’t lost interest though and will be a lot happier with cool weather.
Yes, you're right. My run last night was unbearable I remember you saying that when I got back into running it would be warmer!!
Glad to hear you're still running. It would be a shame to let all the effort to graduate go to waste. Keep it up My next run's tomorrow or Thursday evening. It depends how late a certain match finishes!!
Haha! I imagine a few people are changing their running timetable around tomorrow! I just hate running in this heat. Women ‘of a certain age’ are useless at temperature regulation. Well I am anyway! 😓😓😓
I ruptured my Achilles in at the end of April last years so I know exactly what you’ve been through. Worse thing that’s ever happened to me and the fact I am running again at all feels like a miracle. I’m taking nice and slow!
