No light at the end of the tunnel!
Haven’t been on here for a while. It’s reassuring that I’m not the only one out there, although it feels that way sometimes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as I see no light at the end of the tunnel. I have had so many invasive tests done, including simple blood tests that show absolutely nothing

Colonoscopy side effects
Hello, since I had digestive issuess, such as bloating, belly pain and sometimes diarrhea, my doctor suggested I should do a colonoscopy. The preparation was the worst part. I think that laxative totally irritated my bowels and there were loads of orange mucus coming out of my bowels. The doctor said

TSH perfectly normal ! ?
Hello again. Well, I paid to see the endo today and what people said would happen did happen. He was fixated on numbers as usual and didn't really listen to symptoms. The first words were, 'Why do you think you need an endocrinologist' . Well, that sort of opening line always throws me, why is it

Treating Itp with Herbal Supplements
Hi! I'm a newbie here! I came aboard to find a natural way to treat Itp. Since Prednisone isn't cutting it. Dexamethasone and Eltrombopag also didn't take. The Doctor's want to try rituximab next and I'm a little bit leary of that one. Then of course, if that doesn't work, they'll want to take my spleen

Green Tea, Fish & Fish Oils
So this past week I have been eating some things I shouldn't have, and I have paid the price. Every time I go to the movies, it happens, I eat something I shouldn't eat, even if I ate so perfect for days, I get to the movies and the Nachos start calling my name, or the popcorn, or the ice cream dibs

Sertraline for IBS
Is anyone else taking sertraline for IBS? I’ve been taking it for about 3-4 weeks now with no improvement and wondering whether to continue. To start with it gave me insomnia so I started taking it in the morning which solved that problem. Perhaps my mood has got slightly better but I still have pain

Benefits of flax seeds (ground)
My sister came to stay and was suffering from hot flashes. Partly to help her and looking into this for myself in the future I came across an article on flax seeds helping with mild menopausal symptoms so I thought I’d share the information. My sister is vegetarian and not vegan but does anyone have
