Got a phone call from the
surgery
to say my GP will ring me in 3 weeks to see how I'm getting on. Chased up the respiratory clinic to see when I might get my first appointment. Now got one for end of September.

Excision surgery
Hi everyone, I wanted to ask if anyone has undergone excision
surgery
and what was your experience pre and Post excision
surgery
? I was going to undergo this
surgery
but when the second pre consent was read out to me I did not consent to one of the additional procedures.

laparoscopic 4 weeks ago bleeding
Stopped bleeding about a week after
surgery
, but have started bleeding again like a light period even though I am on the pill. I have been exercising more like swimming so could this cause it? Feel ok in self apart from some mild period type cramping & incisions look like they are healing well.

Confused…?
Have had two successful Trabs. and now have been advised that Cataracts are present and are beginning to cause a problem, but have been advised that cataract
surgery
may have negative effect on Trabs? Any experience of this situation out there?👍

consultant advise
hello everyone, I have today been referred back to gynae for investigation for pain which may be associated to adhesions around my ureter after previous
surgery
some years ago. Sadly my original consultant is now retired and I’m not up with who is best in the field now.

Op. 8 - 3hrs of adhesions but no endo
He explained he did 3 hours of unsticking things so it was still a
surgery
worth having and he's going to see me in clinic in 12 weeks to see what symptoms I still have and explore further options.

Wife of Newly Diagnosed Husband - PSMA questions
Everyone is saying the tests so far suggest the cancer is contained and
surgery
is the best option, but why wouldn’t you do a PSMA scan to confirm as best you can? I would be interested in hearing about others people’s experiences in a case like this.

Yippee! No surgery!
Of course I failed it, but my gall bladder has been fine for several weeks now so we're putting
surgery
on hold. I'm to call him immediately if (when!) I have problems again, and he's more than willing to do the operation at any point if I decide to just get it done.

Laparoscopy clear - what now?
Thanks for the pre-
surgery
advice on my previous post. I had my laparoscopy around 2 weeks ago on the 20th March. It was an uncomplicated procedure and I was found to have a normal pelvis with no evidence of endometriosis. Obviously I am so relieved to be told this.

Concerns with taking Reclast
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in August, had
surgery
, radiation and I’m now on Tamoxifen for 5 years. Reclast has been recommended but I’m hesitant as I have a mandibular tori which is a risk factor for osteonecrosis of the jaw. Has anyone had a mandibular tori and taken Reclast?

Have you experience of Chemotherapy and underactive thyroid?
I have recently completed chemo following
surgery
for a bowel tumour. I was wondering if anyone has experience of chemotherapy and underactive thyroid? I have continued to take 75 T4 and 20 T3. It’s difficult to know if the fatigue / sleep problems are to do with the thyroid or chemo.

Made it home ok thanks all. Another day another saga.
Hubby went to Boots but no prescription so had to go back to the
surgery
as you can’t call our
surgery
. Calls go to a call centre which is actually people working from home. They have no access to our records. Apparently the prescription is waiting for a practice GP to sign it.

Diagnosis
I asked about the Podiatrist at the
surgery
, he said it wasn't necessary. He also told me without looking, that I'd probably have it in my other foot as well. He's an experienced GP and deals with the elderly patients at the
surgery
so I'm not questioning his diagnosis.
