worried in France
Because I live in France, if you go to the
surgery
and say it’s to do with your heart, they send you straight to A and E. so I don’t want to do this unless I have to. I take Bisoprolol 1.25 mg twice daily and have Flecainide as PIP.

Pain Relief
I’ve had a Laminectomy for Severe Spinal Stenosis which unfortunately failed and is now worse than before the
Surgery
! I also have Heart Failure so I’m very limited in the pain relief I can take. I’m under the Pain Management Clinic at my local hospital.

liver concerns
I had clear cell ovarian cancer and had debulking
surgery
and hysterectomy a year ago. I recently had sudden right side and back pain and had a scan with blood work. Everything came out ok except my liver numbers (ast and alt) were super high. Could this indicate the start of a reoccurrence?

I’m not sure if this is just swelling or if there excess skin remaining from the
surgery
. Both concerns I’m hoping will resolve themselves as I continue to heal, but thought I’d ask the question on here in case anyone else has experienced something similar.

Post Op
From the old post, I can really relate the idea of…having the internal being shove and pushed during the
surgery
which thus take time to recover though the external surface wound has gradually heal.

Periods with HRT
Last Sept I had extensive excision
surgery
and the removal of one ovary. I was given utrogestan capsules and evorel 50 patches. However, I have had two bleeds one in dec and one in Jan, more like spotting but with all the pain like a period.

I'm back in the GP
surgery
tomorrow afternoon. Still feeling utterly pants and into my fourth week of this latest respiratory virus. Sinuses are stuffed, coughing is driving me mad, and any get up and go I had has long since got up and gone!

Always the unexpected!
I recently had to have
surgery
on my face for Basal Cell Carcinomas (a not too drastic skin problem from sun damage). As I have multiple health issues the surgeon decided on a general anaesthetic to do skin grafts.

Diagnosed DIE of rectum/bladder/ovaries/POD
I haven't seen a consultant yet for
surgery
options - just wondering if anyone had similar diagnoses and what they went through? I haven't had kids yet and don't know if I can now??? Did anyone with similar endo have a stoma? Thought of needing a stoma kind of terrifies me.

A very sensitive post
I was scared of
surgery
; I had never had one before. The NHS put me on the waiting list for
surgery
for fibroid, which was successful. This gave me hope, but I was still not pregnant.

Waiting for results after Hysterectomy
I had fully expected the
surgery
to find Endometriosis however there wasn't any. I am now waiting on the pathology test results on what was removed. I am wondering if I could have Adenomyosis now, which is why I am posting on this community. If it isn't Adenomyosis, what else could it be?

a double bed with seperate mattresses?
we don't have room for a bigger bed, and I'm recuperating from
surgery
still and some other stuff: not likely to reduce my bed time significantly soon. the same will happen again even if I get us a new mattress, and we don't have the income for that, and I can't get the sleep I need.

Just found the PRDA!
After
surgery
, chemo, pelvic radiation and brachytherapy for an aggressive endometrial cancer, I thought things were ok. But bowel issues have been challenging as well as pelvic insufficiency fractures. I struggle to achieve balance and quality of life.

Post-surgery essentials
My wife is due for her
surgery
on the 26th of September and I wanted to start getting together some things that may help her before and after
surgery
. Is there anything anyone can think of that they didn't expect to need but ultimately wished they'd had sooner?
