Whipple surgery

I'm hearing alot about whipple surgery, has anyone had it ? And what was outcome? Will it make chronic pancreatitis better?

Hi! I've read about this operation. IT is given to people with severe forms of chronic pancreatitis in order to reduce or get rid of pain and get rid of narcotic painkillers. Unfortunately, diabetes mellitus and pancreatic insufficiency will remain.
