Endometriosis Surgery

Hi, i had surgery on Monday where endometriosis was removed. I am getting a burning sensation on my skin of my belly, just around my belly button. I also have bad back pain at the left side.

Just wondering if this is normal?😊

Hi there, I had exactly the same sensation and pain in my back. Can't say if that is normal but you are not alone. It took a good few weeks for that skin sensation to subside, became very very itchy. I can recommend Cerave moisturising lotion if that happens

is it an itchy feeling? If so then that’s normal it’s your body healing just try to not scratch as I did and ended up with an dermatitis infection and needed antibiotics to help with healing

It’s not itchy at the moment but just sore and very sensitive to touch, even my clothes are hurting it. It is a bit better today than it was yesterday, so hoping it goes away soon!!
