Hello and thank you
Hello everyone, thank you for being out there. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last week and I am still adapting to the news. It is difficult, but there seems to be some positive about what we know so far although what lies ahead is probably some combination of oncological therapies, endocrine treatment

What causes severe stomach pain? Upper right quadrant under right breast?
Hi I am APS anti cardolipin positive on low dose aspirin. I have terrible stomach issues and don't know the root cause. In May had a large duodenal ulcer. It was healed with medication in 5 weeks. After a colonoscopy and endoscopy they found more polyps which is not unusual for me. But they now found

Think the cancer could be back..
Just wondered if anyone out there has had cancer come back in their second breast? I am 4 years since mastectomy, chemo and 2 years since recon and now I have a lump in my 'good' breast. Had biopsies Friday and results on Tuesday - I should be calm having been through it but I'm terrified! xx

Petscan shows improvement but Ca 27-29 keeps on rising
My daughter was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer at the age of 26. She had a mastectomy, chemo therapy and radiation. Two years later, the cancer metastasized to her bones. Her oncologist started her ibrance, Fasodex and Xgeva which seemed to be the treatment recommended by several second opinion

from Kevin MD It’s 3 a.m., and I’m wide awake. I’m giddy with excitement and scared. I am 41 years old and tomorrow feels like the first day of school all over again. Only it isn’t. Tomorrow is my first day back at the hospital where I work as a surgeon. Tomorrow is also my first day back at work

Decision: Should I Do Radiation?
I had my first visit with the radiation oncologist yesterday and he’s leaving it up to me to decide if I want to undergo radiation. He said that there’s no data to show that I would receive anything but a slight benefit, and the risks would be small, so it’s a toss-up (but of course he would recommend

Feeling lost on my journey
My husband had a failed vasectomy reversal. We had 4 vials of sperm frozen and embarked on the IVF/ICSI journey. 1st Fresh cycle I felt excited and confident as I had no known fertility issues. I responded well to the medication and ended up with 5 good quality blastocysts (1x5AA, 2x5AB, 2x6BB). I had
