Hide Covid ad
This may sound silly, but I am very excited because I figured out how to hide the Covid ad that pops up after every initial post. Covid was the cause of my major anxiety, and every time I looked at the ad it would remind me of what makes me anxious. I'm not sure why they allowed this kind of an ad

Beta Alanine: STOPS or STARTS itch?
Considering trying Beta Alanine to stop my PV itch, but every time I Google what makes it STOP itch (i.e., how does it work?), all I come up with are articles that say it STARTS itch! Did anyone w/ PV, AP, etc. have their itch actually intensify by taking BA? Also curious if anyone happens to know

Home again!
My trip overseas was very hot and the river cruise was great-no cooking for nearly a month! The downside is that after I travel home in the giant aluminium tube that recirculates air for about 800+ travellers, I managed to get Covid. No probs, got the anti virals and wondered why I wasn't getting better

Scared my AFib will come back due to very nasty cough.
i had an Ablation in September and have developed this horrendous cough, that’s causing me to nearly throw up. My AFib started in 2014, when I had a nasty coughing virus, so I’m scared this coughing virus will bring it back. This one seems much worse. Has anyone else had this horrible cough. ? Any tips

Covid causing Asthma flare
I had Covid nearly two weeks ago and I've been left with this lingering cough and occasional breathlessness and I've also been finding that I'm using my Ventolin inhaler more, my chest doesn't feel tight but sometimes i just get very out of breath and it's hard to catch my breath. I've found that box

Dry achey eyes
I have ET Calr diagnosed 5 years ago on Hydroxycarbamide. Recently I have had problems with my eyes. Very achey, dry, frequent styes. My GP gave me eyedrops for the dry eyes, which have helped but the eye ache is still a problem. Anyone else experienced this?

Hanging on
Remarkably mum is still hanging on through sheer grit we think. She's very weak and frail, had another couple of falls. Been in hospital with pneumonia before xmas and had pneumonia again 2 weeks ago. The care home are great but the frustration is the loss of speech for over 2 years now, no way to communicate

PSA moving way too fast .
My prostate was removed 2002 at which time my PSA went to -0 . Five years later it came back and since than it kept on going up very slow till 2020 when I had COVID-19 which almost killed me . As soo as I started feeling better my PSA went from 12 to 25 in a very short time . I do check it every six

Covid Jab - ending my previous comment on a posting a few weeks back, I promised I’d let the forum know how my jab went…….
Firstly, let me state that a one off result is not significantly relevant and so please don’t draw any definitive conclusions from my personal experience. To compound the above, my circumstances are not straight forward and there are lots of variables that could impact instances of me either having

COVID infection
Hi everyone both my husband and I tested positive for COVID over 2 wks ago with mild symptoms. My husband tested negative after 7 days but I'm still testing positive although I have no symptoms, and it's now 14 days since first test. Any advice why this should be?

Hello, I have just been in hospital for a week with a bad case of pneumonia, which came out of nowhere. I am only 44 and have no history of respiratory problems. The CT scan also showed mild bronchiectasis, which I am now finding out lots more about thanks to forums like this.I am now being bombarded

Hi I would like to share what I've encountered the last 6 months and would love some feedback from anyone I fell ill back in late June 23 It seemed like a cold or flu coming on which turned into pneumonia in both lungs followed by a anti resistant bacterial infection baumanni that led to ards sepsis
