GP/Specialist appointments
I am 70 years old and have had asthma for most of my life. I moved from Lancaster in 2010, where I had a fantastic Dr and fully qualified asthma nurse. I now live in the far west of Cornwall and for several reasons need to see a GP. And that is where the problem lies. In February I had a bad fall and

dengue fever vaccinate or not?
I started off on 15mg Pred in October and am now down to 10mg. I am off to India (Rajasthan) in February and dengue fever vaccine has been suggested. As it is a live vaccine I am not sure whether having the vaccine is worth the risk of contracting dengue. Any advice? Also big thanks to the community

Schwannomatosis NF3 and AZ Covid 19 vaccines finally out of system after 3 years
Good news for a change? My left arm has been tingling for about the last 6 weeks, shaking, even in sleep I have to put it under the pillow, so I can sleep, this afternoon watching TV, 1st Feb, lower left arm slightly warm twitching as per usual, I lost patience with it and severely hit back of hand

anyone have achy legs
I’m learning so much from reading everyone’s posts. Unfortunately I am still trying to figure out what is going on with my legs. I know I have a component of RLS as my legs feel like a “current” is running through them when I am sitting for long periods, watching Tv in evenings and laying in bed.

RSV vaccine?
Hi all! Is there any reason that I might want to avoid the RSV vaccine with my PMR? I also have delayed getting the most recent covid booster since I had covid last September and hoping that immunity is going to last awhile. As always, so appreciate the advice on this great site.

I had a steroid injection in my left shoulder on Thurs pm (after waiting about 6 months). The doctor administering it, advised me to postpone a forthcoming shingles jab, but I forgot to ask him if I should continue to take methotrexate (due Fri - i opted to skip it this week) and my 2 weekly Imraldi

Covid teens
It may have been there before covid, but if it was it was very well hidden. I have two great kids, son and daughter. One was a senior during Covid, and the other was in 10th grade. We will start with seniors story. Needless to say no senior year enjoyment, and then went off to college and his first year

looking for a neurologist
Can anyone recommend a neurologist knowledgeable in RLS in the Bristol/ Bath (England) area ? I currently have a neurologist whom I rate quite highly but who cannot prescribe opioids as they are not on the formulary of the hospital where she practises. She has however asked my GP to prescribe Oxycodone
