Hi everyone both my husband and I tested positive for COVID over 2 wks ago with mild symptoms. My husband tested negative after 7 days but I'm still testing positive although I have no symptoms, and it's now 14 days since first test. Any advice why this should be?
COVID infection : Hi everyone both my husband and I... - LUPUS UK
COVID infection
It seems to be not uncommon for these later variants to test positive longer and also for people with autoimmune disorders to struggle to get rid of them and so test positive for longer.
This is the same scenario for my husband and myself. I am the autoimmune one. I thought the same as PMPro. Look after yourself .
My husband had covid during the pandemic, he still tested positive for that length of time as well, the positive line did get fainter though. Surprisingly, I’m the vulnerable one and didn’t catch it, I had one extra vaccine than him. So maybe they do work. We are both due our next lot in November.
Exactly the same thing happened to me and my husband. I decided that it must be due to my extra vaccines too. He tested positive for 14 days - long after his symptoms had cleared.
Yes when I had Covid I tested positives for several weeks. Immunocompromised.
