good evening! This is a strange one I think. Just wondered if anyone could explain or maybe have had experience of this. I will go to the Doctor obviously.
I started Prednisolone in early October 15 mg and am currently on 9.5. Golfing, gardening, decorating - have had very few side effects - and felt really well but one is I’m on my third dose of antibiotics for urine infection - never had one before. And now for a week I am experiencing discomfort in my right breast. It came on literally overnight. I am tender near my nipple. Things are not even now totally straightforward as about 55 years ago I had breast reduction surgery so the duct system was interfered with so my breast tissue is a bit lumpy generally but I cannot feel any specific lump. So I am wondering if there are changes in my breast tissue due to Prednisolone which are causing pressure on the a,ready altered duct system.
Just seems odd that I went to bed on Thursday 11 January perfectly fine and woke on Friday 12 with an uncomfortable nipple area- no redness, no discharge.
Any ideas please and thank you. Yes I will go to the Doctor!
