AVR surgery tomorrow!

Hoping and praying that my surgery doesn’t get cancelled again. I’m second on the list tomorrow at midday. Absolutely terrified. Wish me luck!

Feeling terrified is normal the night before I had my Bypasses even though they gave me a sedative I did not sleep but try and get some rest and I really do hope it does not get cancelled

You are in safe hands and focus on all the things you can do and enjoy again after your recovery

The midnight terrors! I think of Rick Stein’s recent comments about his AVR - they were extremely reassuring. You’ll probably be able to google them (I hope!). All the best to you and looking forward to your next post in a little while.
