T3 stopped š”
Hi everyone ā¤ļø As some of you may know my gp stopped my T3 until I saw the endo on Dec 27th which didn't go wellš .. My gp said I would see the endo before my T3 ran outš this of course never happened so she gave me one months supply to tide me over. The appointment with the endo was for thyroid medication

GP advice needed please!
Hello, I was (eventually) diagnosed with Hashimoto's 25 years ago (the misdiagnosis nearly killed me, I was literally a week away from a coma, the consultant said.) I've been on 150mcg on day one and 175mcg day two, for 25 years. Every time I move house, the gp decides to reduce it, then puts it back

Update on my daughter's GP call today. So angry.
I'm so angry but not surprised. I didn't expect much tbh. My daughters last Vitamin results from 2022 were B12 290, Ferritin 24, folate 9.2 & Vit D 39. She been on thyroxine since a teenager now in her 40's. TSH levels fluctuating all over the place for past 6 years. Well the GP called today

Choices
Apologies for this seemingly random question but which do members think has the āleast worstā effect on T4 - pain or analgesics?

Would an iodine supplement help?
I still don't feel well (very tired and the most dreadful brain fog which has stopped me driving) and wondered how I would know if an iodine supplement might help? Any thoughts would be most appreciated. Latest Medichecks results - stopped taking b12 liquid 2 weeks before test. Taking Spatone, VitaminD

Goitre and antibodies but bloods all fine
Hi, I developed a fairly big lump in my neck in July 23. Did the 2 week wait thing and had an ultrasound and saw an ENT consultant. They diagnosed a thyroid nodule and said it looked normal with no need for FNA. Consultant asked for endo to see me and I am still waiting for this or any acknowledgment

What should my optimal vitamin levels be please?
Hi there, Iām trying to get vitamin levels up to hopefully help with poor conversion. Iron was low and Iāve recently retested for that after supplementing for about 3 months. Ferritin is now at 65 ug/L Folate has dropped from >45 a year ago to 8.5ug/L My question is what should they ideally be?

Post ectopic pregnancy
Hello, new here. Just wondering if anyone else had trouble conceiving after having a salpingectomy? And how long it took post surgery to conceive again? Im 36 and have only had one pregnancy in a year and a half of trying, it was unfortunately ectopic. Not sure if we should keep trying or go to our GP

Got GP appointment but what to say to get him to test anything more than TSH
Hi 3 months ago I wrote a post about my daughters results since 2018 & her vitamin levels which are dire. It has taken her this long to manage to get a telephone appointment with a GP next Wednesday. My question is what does she say to convince them to test more than just her TSH. I went through

cost of t3
hi all I have been on thyroid sicca and my gp will no longer prescribe it. I am going to go private to try a t4/t3 combo. I did this once before and did well on it. I realise I will have a long drawn out battle to get this prescribed on the nhs. I wondered what prices people have been paying for it

Getting the NDT dosage right
Hello again friends, I'm writing again in the hope that your collective expertise will come up with a solution for me. I switched from Levothyroxine to NDT (NP Thyroid) some time back, and I've been testing every 12 weeks and tweaking the dose trying to get it right. The latest results, which arrived

Help boosting thyroid without medication?
Hello all I have posted before as my thyroid function is poor but always comes back in range (my TSH never rises even with low levels) so no chance of medication on the NHS (other than statins for high cholesterol which I refuse). I did some recent tests TSH 1.95 (0.27-4.2) T4 14.6 (12-22) T3
